I showed up expecting the line to be out the door but there were only 7 or so people inside. It took maybe 15 minutes to wait in line and process my package shipment. Granted it was a Friday afternoon so maybe that worked in my favor. All the employee interactions I observed seemed cordial enough. Especially when compared to the few customers that would watch videos on their phone without headphones or conduct phone conversations while waiting in line. The most "rude" interaction I noticed from an employee was when a customer (who had filled out the incorrect form) asked the employee if they would fill out the right form for them and was bluntly told no. This seemed like a reasonable response as any. Maybe I would have a lower review if I had to frequent the post office more often but my experience was definitely not as bad as many of the reviews listed here. So if you have to ship something very simple, do not let the fear of potentially mild discomfort hold you back from going to the criminally underfunded federal entity that is the US Post Office.

During this interaction, the postal employee on duty was hostile and unprofessional. During the exchange, the employee used homophobic slurs directed at me. This occurred after a verbal exchange where he displayed an aggressive attitude toward me. Regardless of any disagreement, the use of slurs and discriminatory language by a federal employee is unacceptable and constitutes misconduct. I am requesting a formal investigation into this incident, including review of security footage and any witness accounts. I expect appropriate disciplinary action to be taken. I also have video evidence of the employee refusing to provide a receipt upon request and intentionally delaying service for approximately 15 minutes in a retaliatory manner. This video is available upon request. I also asked for the supervisor, but she was acting like she didn't wanna be involved. This post office is so unprofessional. It's ridiculous. I will be taking this to the further extent.

The postal workers are just doing their job so if you arrive a second past 5:00 pm they have the key in the door and you have to wait for them to open it to let you out. There was a line, but it was moving fast. All the workers were kind and helpful. I was directed to the passport window, and the woman in the window was nice, helpful, and accommodating. I lost my old passport, and she walked through the documents needed with me (I do be staying prepared). She told me the prices, so I could write the checks on the spot, and answered all the questions I had about delivery time.
