You can park on the first floor of the parking garage in the 20-minute spaces, but they are sometimes all full during the day. I was able to walk over with my package after conferring with the security guard at my bank, who had seen me walk into the bank, that I had actually used the bank and now had 20 minutes if I needed to run an errand. As soon as I entered the second clerk went on a break, leaving only one clerk at a window. She valiantly worked on by herself. A mail carrier was helping her out, so he kind of wandered back and forth. They were out of passport applications, and he gave information to a person who would have just had to stand in line for nothing. Then he kindly took my package, which was prepaid and for which I only needed a receipt, so good team work. It seems like the Postal service needs to supply more clerks to this post office since it gets a lot of use from the students and tourists, as it is still the central Post Office.
