My family and I Went to go get our passports and was greeted with a very grumpy lady working at the front desk. Apparently we were to late for our appointment (5 minutes late) and only could get one passport done out of 4. Each passport takes around 7 minutes. Then we got another employee. His name was Ray! He got all of the passports done in around 30 minutes. He was very nice, and very quick with all the passports. Ray should get a raise! read more

The post office service is so fucking slow. I was to get a package delivered between 10 an 2 on August 14 but looking on tracking first they said these times than doing more research it's not maybe 8 pm. This is why they need to up date their system. With Fed Ex and UPS you can track in real time. They are so outdated. If you take a package into their branch no self se to speed up the very slow lines. Usually there is only one person working. Their are several papers forms not online forms to to print out or no computers to do in the branch which the employees have to put into computer. You ca not buy stamps from a machine either. These all slow service. If you have self service to buy stamps and to send packages plus a drop box to put your package in after you have a label, input address and return it would be faster plus to take cash or credit card. You even have to now go in to chance of address because people are stealing addresses too. But if you have input on computer and show ID etc. Come into the 21 century. I mailed something to go across the city of Denver and it went out of state and back into the state and city. Is this effective no. Plus, staff are rude unhelpful and you can not get any one on the phone too. read more

The friendliest of faces in the worst USPS outside of the upper east side in New York. There is no parking, ever. Go ahead, drive around the block three times. Your best best is the Clayton Lane garage, have fun paying $5 to mail your packages (and if you do get street parking, don't plan to "be back in a minute" because a meter guy will give you a ticket the second you turn your back on your car). Once inside, there is almost guaranteed to be a line, likely only one person working the counter (I've seen two around the holidays), and the self-serve machine is rarely in working order. In an area as busy as Cherry Creek North, it's imperative that this store perform better than others just because of the volume of clientele it receives. Truly hope it changes one day as I hate driving to Glendale. read more

Terrible customer service! The lady in the front is oblivious and rude. No chance im coming here again

First off, parking is horrendous and the line is always at least 5 people deep. I know the Post Office is hurting right now and I have no problem with waiting in line, but when I'm also racing against the parking meter, it's too much. I opened a PO Box at this location for wedding registry gifts, as I don't trust my neighbors to keep our mail room secure, and had nothing but problems. First, opened the box online and after bringing the application form and ID to the post office, the box was never properly opened by the staff at the office. The orange block in the back of the box remained there for three weeks while I tried to have things sent there. My fiancé went in and asked about the block and was told it wasn't opened properly, but that it was fixed now. I had a package returned to sender because it didn't have a box number on it. It had my fiancé's name on it, and even though he's an authorized user on the box they had no record of his name anywhere. Between the parking, the lines, and two mess ups with the box, I'm done. The drop off box is always jammed so you can't put packages into it. It takes 2 days to get an acceptance scan on boxes you drop off. Why isn't this common practice to scan a box once it's in their possession. Homeless people are always sleeping in the lobby at night also. Don't plan on parking within 3 blocks of this place unless you go after 9pm. read more

That pretty much describes the Cherry Creek US post office. At best there are two metered parking places that are occupied 95% of the time. It is a poorly planned post office that relies on walk-in traffic and does not provide parking. What makes this even more difficult is Cherry Creek North is a mixed business and residential community and is the second (upscale) downtown area for the city of Denver. Not only are there plenty of businesses that need Postal Service but plenty of residents that require postal services. "Yes, Virginia, there is [an]..." alternative to text messages and email. Thank you Francis Church for your 1897 book so I could plagiarize your quote about Santa Claus. Why doesn't "Claus" have an "e" at the end of his name? This post office is screaming for a solution. Most businesses in the area and residents drive 3 miles to the Glendale post office if they need postal services. Oh yes, it's a nice store but half the size it needs to be for the area it serves. read more

Had an insured tracked package with something dear to me and expensive. They never called me when it came, and the tracking said they would tell us which post office it came from on a notice but no notice was received. I called cherry creek as that is the closest to me, and called the phone number for over an hour on loop and no one ever answered. I understand in 2020 USPS is swamped and I very much understand things might be late, but basic service such as leaving a note you say you will leave or answering the phone once an hour would be nice. Will be using fedex for important shipments from now on. read more
