The staff member I dealt with on December 2, 2022 was friendly and assistive. But my gosh... these prices have gone way out of control. I shipped a 2.90 lb. box to Lincoln, NE... just your normal standard rate. The box was 16X10X7". It costed $54.82. I sometimes wonder about my random acts of kindness, but hopefully good karma came out of it. Another note: I was the lone customer for a few moments, but then others started trickling in quickly that afternoon. The same lady who helped me was telling them all she'd be right with them. Surely, if they are charging those rates they can get an additional representative at the front.

That being said, I've noticed a lack of professionalism during a few visits... namely, inappropriate topic discussions at the front register and the newest stocking guy frequently cussing while talking to another employee. It's one thing to speak freely with your supervisor behind closed doors, but another to be so careless and vile within a customer's earshot. I've picked up blue prints and a few other print jobs for my boss here. No major issues other than having to wait an extra 10 minutes because they didn't notice his second request in their sytem. They were apologetic. The store is large and organized well. Large, spacious parking lot to match your shopping experience. On another (albeit rather silly) note, I'm glad they named it "Staples" and not something arbitrary like "Rulers" or "Erasers" or "Letter Openers." While rulers, erasers, and letter openers certainly are handy tools in the office, actual staples help keep important stuff together. So do "Paper Clips," but would have been way too long to say and shortening it to "Clips" could cause even more confusion. Keep your office and/or school life together. Go to Staples.

The employee who assisted me was welcoming & efficient. She didn't try to persuade me to purchase an unnecessary, more expensive method of shipping. There was ample parking at this middling site. It's a bit lackluster on the outside & inside, but it gets the job done. My package recipient was opening their birthday gift by Friday so I'm a happy camper.

Lol…read more And I just have to tell it how it is so you can understand what you're dealing with if you have to go to the one and only Hobbs Post Office. Don't show up during the regular business hours lunch break times... it gets crowded. It's always crowded during any holiday. Or days preceding a big holiday. The line moves ridiculously slow more times than not! They often lock the door on the north end of the building due to "blowing wind" which is where I prefer to enter... However, the doors at the main entrance are just as difficult to open and slams the glass ajar & shut when said high wind is in session. The lines in the parking lot need to repainted, but even then folks would still park like drunk schmucks. The employees, while mostly friendly, tend to be somewhat unprofessional here. If they had a self-service kiosk for stamps, I'd probably never choose to deal with the front desk folks. On another note, the mailman that comes to my brother's house which has an office for his business that I work for does not handle our packages with care. Our cameras show him dropping them and tossing our clients' very expensive goods carelessly. Yep... I'm gonna keep complaining in person and on here because they recently raised prices on the post office boxes. Plus I have high suspicions this same office lost my birth certificate about 15 years ago! (At least that's what the US passport agency told me.)

This is when I decided it was time to get professional help. I called ahead and spoke with a very polite girl named Ashley. I asked her what the cost and procedure would be to scan 32 pages worth of documents and was quoted in a matter of seconds. I arrived about 30 minutes later than anticipated (my fault/construction/traffic) and was greeted by a team of girls eager to assist me with my issues. I spoke to Ashley, which was just as pleasant in person as she was on the phone, and promptly went to working on my documents. Some of the pages were creased at the corners after trying to go through my printer at home, so she put them in and scanned them from the bottom to the top. Then when it was completed, scanned & simply flipped it over to be right side up. She saved the document to my thumb drive and the file on her computer was deleted for my privacy. The charge was exactly as what was quoted over the phone. I was in/out in less than 10 minutes. I felt so good for having to come in and made a new friend in the process. I will ONLY return to this location for future needs. Ashley and the staff were great. They were energetic & smiling the whole time :) Such a great sight to see especially around this area. I would highly recommend the services this UPS provides. I will no longer go to any other store even if this one is well out of my way because of the service I know I will receive here.
