If this is the Wooster oh branch, they lost my package I was receiving from my son in Denver containing gifts from Egypt. It was at the branch, I got the pink slip. I never got it and it never went back to my son. It's gone,, missing from the post office. All they said is I'm sorry. Worst post office to exist to this day. Not an understatement. Place is filled with beyond lazy individuals who either, dont deliver, deliver to wrong address, or damage the product. Wish I could say the management took care of things, but they're even lazier than the staff. Poor excuse for an establishment and needs some new folks to really fix this up. read more

Have had multiple issues with this office ranging from rude and unprofessional staff or incompetent carriers. The managers are the worst and take no accountability on issues that are theirs to take. Rena is one of the managers and deserves not to have a job, she is very rude and unprofessional and unbecoming of someone working in customer service. read more

Ok people, let's keep it real. Can you imagine working for the Post Office? Picture a job that is as boring as watching paint dry and having to deal with people who constantly complain about missing packages and expensive rates all with a bad attitude. I see these poor ratings on the customer service and I wonder what people expect. I don't go to the post office looking for a hug and a rendition of Koombaya. Sure, these folks could use a dose of happiness. The staff here is rather grumpy, but not rude. They get the job done and ship my stuff. This location is located in a strip mall, so plenty of parking. They have a rather large retail area, a self service kiosk and I love the mail drop bin with the huge metal turn-style. To mimic Andrew, this place is super clean! I definitely will be back to this location! read more

Place is scary. Received damaged products since february, finally left a note in my mailbox asking them to please start bringing the big packages to my door instead of shoving them in the mailbox. Carrier then proceeded to mark all my mail as delivered for 8 days and steal my mail without me knowing. I reached out for help, received none from this post office. Spoke very kindly to her after I came home one day and told her she could resume delivering and told her I meant no offense by the note and that i was just trying to help us both out. She said she had no problem doing that and would work on it. Then i noticed all my packages are being held at the post office due to "customers request" reached out and told them I never made the request. Then i was told the carrier felt threatened by me. (i have a lot of tattoos) clear to me i have been profiled completely since I was very kind to her. When I called to talk to the supervisor (Kevin Porter), I explained my packages were being messed with. He screamed on the phone saying they werent, he also hung up on me twice. Btw, ive never yelled or cussed at any of these people. Now im told that I have to come pick up my packages, technically no bother to me as I frequent the post office (for personal other reasons) i just go to other ones. So ill have them handle all my work moving forward, and then just pick up my stuff now i guess.. Regardless really sad I got profiled here. Place is filled with very mean.. and aggressive people. Very shocking to deal with honestly. Definitely think they should get some more mentally stable people working at this location. read more

It's the Post Office so I'm not expecting anything grand. They do have the 24/7 self service kiosk which is nice since not all USPS locations have this. I typically use the self service kiosk for most of my visits. The people at the counter aren't rude, but they aren't thrilled to be there. Again, it is just the Post Office. read more

Walked in 10'minutes after they opened, 8 people in line before me. Made zero progress in 15min, could see the frustration on everyone's face. Never had this sort of experience at any post office but the at this location. never be coming back, I'll take my business to FedEx or UPS. Finally left after 15min and still everyone was in-line. This might be the most incompetent and inconsiderate group of people I've have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Twice, in two weeks, they have sent packages back to sender for no reason. I called and was told the package would be held at the post office for a week and that it could be picked up. When I went, however, I was told it was returned to sender already, the day the incompetent carrier tried to deliver it! I will do whatever I can to make sure nothing of mine ends up in their hands again. read more

this is how the fairlawn post office treats your mail, this was not the first time it has happened it is a regular occurance and they need to be investigated for not properly securing your mail. they are also not very good at handling the mail, i've had multiple bills go missing. their service is getting worse and they need to clean house and bring in people who are willing to work. read more

In the last two years I have had nothing but poor service from the Firestone Park Branch of the USPS. If I put in a vacation stop or forwarding order while we are out of town, I still get mail in my mail box. If it were not for the person I have watching my house, mail would be spilling out of my mailbox while we are out of town. I stopped in to the post office to speak to someone about this recently and a man joined the person at the window to ask what was wrong. He never identified himself. When I asked how this can happen, he replied, "hey people make mistakes". I said, "for two years"? I asked who sorts the mail--"the carrier". I asked who is aware of my vacation or forwarding stop---"the carrier". I asked if there was anyone there who could get this guy to stop this behavior, he said,"talk to the carrier". I said I am not going to sit at home and try to catch the carrier to do the job someone at the post office is supposed to do. I asked if he could help me. He said, "I'm not a supervisor." I asked if I could speak to a supervisor--"not here." I said you guys have one job to do---deliver mail and you are not doing that to my satisfaction, what do I do about it? He said, "what can I tell you, people make mistakes." And they wonder why there are problems at the Post Office! read more

I agree with Carol S.'s previous review. The USPS lady was rude and grumpy (black lady with blue highlight in her hair)!!! She was very rude to this poor old guy who was asking her a simplest of questions. Then it was my turn... although I was polite the entire time, she was very rude and even rolled her eyes on me when I requested an additional insurance on the package. Carol S. hit the nail on the head in describing the employees at the Fairlawn post office. Not only are they GRUMPY...they are downright rude. I only patronize this location because it is convenient...it is right around the corner from my home. I use the self serve kiosk whenever possible. On several occasions when I had to ship packages instead of going to this post office I opted to utilize Fed Ex which is right down the street. Fed Ex services are definitely more expensive than the post office but I would rather pay a few more bucks to receive "friendly" customer service vs. having to deal with Fairlawn USPS employees who come across as hating both their job as well as the people they provide service to. read more

The worst USPS branch I have ever been to in my life. Anticipating long holiday lines, I called this branch location in advance for information regarding a PO Box signup. I was on hold on the phone for 18 minutes until someone finally came on the line and said, "We have boxes available. Just bring a photo ID and something with your address on it." I took my driver's license and a utility bill. After standing in line for about 35 minutes, I was handed a form to fill out. On the form, the documentation I needed to have brought was specifically enumerated. A bill did not meet the criteria. After standing in line another 10-15 minutes to inquire if they'd accept the utility bill, per what I was vaguely advised over the phone by their own staff, the clerk coldly stated, "only what's on that list." I asked why I was told on the phone that mere proof of address was sufficient if that was not the case. The clerk gave me a blank stare and then rudely repeated, "only-what-is-on-the-list." This office lacks basic organization and requires intense revisions to their customer service philosophy. read more

Absolutely the worst post office ever! The employees treat you like they're doing you a favor and the wait time is unbelievable since they only have one employee to work the counter. The other ones are sent on break (for the day?) when there is a long line...or there's one that may sit in the chair next to the only one working staring out looking at the line of people needing helped. "If you have something to drop off that has already been paid for"...apparently that worker is able to assist. Huh??!! This is about the third time I've experienced this and just lost 45 minutes out of my life I'll never get back. If this post office was not right by my office I would NEVER go back! God help anyone on their lunch break in line behind the Ebay shipper with a stack of packages going out! UGGHHHH. I'd like to give a negative star rating...but unfortunately that's not an option.
