Great spot to get a lot done. The employees are super helpful and very friendly. Like the convenient location and available parking.

Ridiculously unacceptable customer service. One employee there is remarkable in the display of apathy and hostility towards customers and the job. Feeling put out when I asked for help, the worker responded belligerently, and a moment later let her negative feelings toward customers and this job fly freely for all to hear. After waiting an excruciatingly long time... for a shipping label.... I asked for my box back. Another flurry of belligerence where I got a scolding. I remarked upon the bad attitude which triggered yelling by the worker. As I left, I expressed myself with an expletive. Naturally, the worker screamed expletives back along with threats. I swore one more time on my way out the door. Obviously the worst place of business I have ever encountered. Have heard nothing in response to the online form I completed hoping to register a complaint with the owner. read more

Generally poor experiences here. Seems not to be much structure here. One trip printing a label was a dollar, next week it was two dollars. Unmotivated location. I'll only go here if I HAVE to. read more

On Thursday morning January 12, 2023 I called this UPS store to ask if they could help us...and did they ever. The store owner/operator answered the phone and I explained the situation. My wife had left a scarf that belonged to her late mother at a nearby restaurant the previous night. We were on our way to Cleveland airport returning to Atlanta and could not be there when the restaurant opened. The UPS store (#2559) owner at 1700 W. Market St Akron went to the restaurant, retrieved the scarf (which they had ready and waiting for her!) and safely shipped it to us overnight so that my wife had it for her next travel plans. We never saw the store team in person and they could not have been more courteous and professional in this situation. As a former career UPSer, the owner of this store and her team made me very proud of a business enterprise we helped prosper. I have had a business mailbox in this store for years. I have witnessed the staff treating everyone like family and always going above and beyond to help anyone who walks in the door. I actually enjoy going to the mailbox. I highly recommend the store for any of your shipping needs. read more

So convenient, not crowded like the post office and the employees are always very professional and helpful

maybe get a mailbox but dont have this place move you. Their moving service is horrible. Movers lost paper work had us sign blanks after the fact very unprofessional. didnt move all of our stuff left behind the leg frame to our couch. scratched up our dryer ripping it our of our house. supervisor was on site and was rude and didnt help. after everything went bad CANDACE doubled down on her rudeness and refused to help us after we mentioned calling our lawyer. NOW we have contacted CMHA risk management lawyers and you will probably lose you CMHA account all because CANDACE is rude and unprofessional. read more

John at this location has always been incredibly kind & helpful whether it has been sending packages to my children in college or returns on items ordered on line . Highly recommend using this sending center as the employees are all wonderful! read more

This is a great UPS store! I am here a couple times a week sending out work related items. Fast and friendly service. I have a hard time shipping anywhere else. Even if I just have regular USPS stuff to mail- I do it here. read more

Went to drop off a small box with a Ppd label that I had opened to recheck contents, and the two clerks told me there was a "taping fee" of $1.00 to reseal the box. What a rip...$1.00 for 8" of tape!!! Where is the customer service, where is the goodwill, where is the common sense? I will NEVER do business with this store again. I called another nearby UPS store and asked if they had a "taping fee" and they said "a what?" So, I went a bit out of my way and took my business to a store that has an owner (and help) who has customer service sense! UPS is a great organization, but the people that run this particular store gives the company a bad name. Guess that is the risk of not having company stores. read more
