The US Post Office at this location on Columbus Avenue was very convenient for me when I lived on the West Side. It's busy and the line gets long at peak times of day. I'm retired so I mail my correspondence here when I'm out early hanging around this neighborhood. I definitely recommend this branch if you live or work nearby.

During the holidays, the amount of customers and the volume of mail handled is outstanding. I can't deny that at times more counters should be available and the mail for my building has been delivered as late as 6pm. The clerk behind the desk (#77) was EXTREMELY knowledgable and guided me in the right direction. This might be her specialty with all the insight and expertise she had. It made me at ease and I was SUPER happy coming here. She even knew what amount to make the checks out for (passport fees, mailing fees, expedite fees, etc). My only issue was the parking which I had to take away 1 star for. They have a row of parking spots, and all were taken. When I walked inside, only 1 customer was before me. How could ALL of the spots be taken and only 1 customer?!?!?!
