Upon inspection of my junk pile, I was quoted $290 for 1/4 of the truck and I got $20 off for online scheduling. So, $270 total. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. The 2 men worked hard and loaded up my crap in about 10 minutes before taking payment (they accept card) and leaving. The whole process was so simple and fast. My entire turn around was about 3 hours from logging onto their website to them driving off with my junk. Thank you Rubbish Works!

The second time was to have a bunch of wood and fencing as well as some garbage that had been piling up in the garage picked up. Both times, the drivers showed up unprepared for the job even though I left very detailed descriptions of what I needed taken away in their online scheduling form. Both times, they informed me that their truck was already mostly full and they couldn't fit all the stuff in there and they wanted to be able to bring another guy to help them. The first time, for the hot tub, I did accept their offer to reschedule because we had no ideas on other ways to dispose of this hot tub that no longer worked and a few other companies had refused to take. The guys did not seem very happy about having to take apart the hot tub and hauling it away even though the fee I was charged was really high, but I couldn't really blame them because I did not want to do it either. Today, the driver was not able to reschedule me while he was here and told me the office would give me a call sometime today to set something up for later. He then told me that I should just rent a dumpster and load it all up myself. Again, I got the clear impression that he did not want to come back and load up my rubbish pile. I wish I had known I would be having this experience again because I would have called another company to rent a dumpster prior to starting our demolition project and garage clean out. Thinking I would be able to have Rubbishworks pick it up on our scheduled appointment, we worked as hard as we could over the weekend to get it all together in a nice pile in our driveway to make it easier on them today. Lesson learned. The dumpster has been ordered and will be here in a couple of days for half the price.

Talk about easy and super-efficient. I went to this location to register my out of state vehicle…read moreand from the time of my arrival until the time of completion was only 25 min. What really helped was processing the registration paperwork online and letting the office already have that information in their system. You just need to printout the preregistration paperwork that they send you afterwards in the email and bring it with you along with proof of residence and of course the title of ownership. After you process your request online, the DMV sends you a text message and you can use that to check in for your appointment or walk-in and use their check-in kiosk. I opted to use my phone and respond through link on the text message. Their system accurately tells you where you are in line and how many people are currently waiting in front of you. Very simple process to follow. I did have to wait 20 min because of the folks that were ahead of me. There was a little wait time but no worries. 5 min to only process the paperwork and immediately get the plates. How quick is that? CA is back in the stone ages and has not done anything whatsoever to improve their processes. DMV is the last last place anyone would want to visit unless it was absolutely necessary but this experience was quite pleasant nonetheless. The lady that helped me was also so friendly. Registration papers take about 3-6 weeks to arrive to your home address. Plenty of parking and seating and nobody was standing around.

We were out in just over an hour. It's the DMV there really isn't a level of personality or friendly to measure but I did think it was nice of the gentleman to take us at the same time.
