I recently had two packages shipped from FedEx with Huge shipping adjustments, where the weight of the package I had claimed was actually Heavier than FedEx estimated, but "billable weight" was increased substantially from what Ebay had calculated based on measurements. My measurements were correct because I was using standard sized Walmart boxes, 24, 19, 16" - but FedEx somehow added over $30 to my shipping price. The remedy is too expensive - there is no clear way to dispute an adjustment and it would eat up too much of my time to fix it - so it is just a problem with FedEx's organizational structure. read more

I wish I could say this is the first or even the second time that my print order has been wrong, but we have so few options on this side of town for professional level short run printing, I just keep going back even though I know better. This time, I ordered five 8 1/2 x 11, 80 lb cover, 4/0, no bleed. It's a very clean file even though there are no cut lines. They are Valentine cards. I paid an obscene amount of money to have those pieces of paper cut in half for me so that I could just worry about the horizontal cuts (last time, even though there were cut lines, my horizontal cuts look like they had been done with eyes closed and paper on the bias so I figured I would do them myself and not create problems where I don't have to) I showed up, and she handed me a single uncut sheet of 32 lb bond. That was it, that was my whole print order. When I explained the problem, she told me I was wrong and I'm getting exactly what I ordered. Bad start. (And at this part, who knows what went wrong. I know what I filled in online, I remember selecting 80 lb cover and five pages, what sense does it make to order six Valentine's on copy paper, it might have reset my preferences when I added that $3 cut, who knows who cares all we can do is move forward) When I realized I would get no empathy, I moved on to reparative measures and started trying to send her my file so that we could start over. At this point she offered to remedy the situation by providing the cut that I overpaid for, she wanted to cut that 32 lb bond in half for me. That single sheet of paper, she actually offered to cut it in half. I'm really angry at this point, I crumple it into a ball and continue looking for my file to send to her. It takes her a few minutes to catch up, and let me know that she has my file already. Hallelujah. She prints it, and I pay full price for everything. Because of course! Why should they provide any degree of customer service at all? I head over to the cutter in store, which was dull, and proceed to muddle through cutting my cards with no trim lines (it's an Etsy file, you can't get everything). While I am cutting, after I complained about the dull blade and she came over to explain why it was my fault, I had the privilege of overhearing another customer come in only to have their print order wrong. Thank the universe it's not me, it's them oh it's them. Don't do it. Print it yourself, draw it by hand, use NCR paper, anything. Stay away from these horrible toxic anti-customer service negative Nelly nightmare people. read more

Mel was SUPER helpful and efficient! I was really impressed how Mel helped me through my visit. I was grateful she helped me email my letter to FedEx, she printed it, and then I printed our letter on my holiday letterhead. It turned out beautiful! I was so excited to complete this project that I left our laptops in our messenger bag next to the printer. Again, Mel goes above and beyond! She locked our bag in the safe and emailed me to relay this information! Talk about TOP notch customer service! She's an asset to the company 100%! This place, the employee lady try to help me. She wrinkle my paper, Jam my paper in the fax machine and was nosey to look at my personal paper. I saw her put in my paper aiming on one side verses facing straight down and had the nerd to say what happen and don't know what happen. I didn't want to say a thing mean due to wanting to respect someone older than me due to culture,value and beliefs. Just watch out for the older lady in burette hair. I had to drive to hillsboro to office deposit and had my fax went so quickly verses this fed ex the machine had to read my paper ten times and reject it. It's not fun to come to a location that's not helpful and she had guts to ask me come back later when their fax is ready read more

I don't know what's going on with FedEx but they suck two day shipping takes over a week! That's if they don't steal your package

I called in advance of my visit, to get some prices and double check the services I was wanting: spiral binding on a book and some large scale scanning. When I got there, the person I had talked to was helping someone else (Amanda). They wanted me to drop everything off and pick it up later, which I refused. Alexandra cut my binding and rebound the book pretty quickly. Then, took my items to the large scale scanner. The scans were quick and clean. I had two problems. First, they actually couldn't attach the large scans to email, so I had to buy an overpriced spare USB while I was there. Second, that the cost of scans turned out to be almost DOUBLE what I'd been quoted (I was told $0.75/sq ft, but was charged $1.19/sq ft). Whose stupid idea was it to charge more for a scan than a scan & print? read more

These guys are on point. I run a national sales company from a satellite office down the street and every time I go in there they are ready to rock. I ship $20k of equipment weekly though this location and I've never had to sit around and wait or deal with anybody who doesn't know what time it is. If you have a poor review you must be restarted. From graphics & prints to shipping details , cut off times and coverages.. These guys know the job and speak the terminology they understand. I can't wait to ship this Clover point of sale system out tomorrow, I bet you they hold the door open for me while I carry it in. read more

Had a wonderful experience working with Mel at this store a few weeks ago. I told her my printing needs, and she provided me a wide variety of paper types and sizes to choose from. She also took the initiative to clarify my order before placing it. The flyers and handouts turned out sharp, colorful, and exactly how Mel explained they would be. Monica was working alone on a very busy Friday August 4th , she got my binding job done on the same day.. she handle the multiple customers very well but i think there should be at least 2 people working to offset the load its a lot for one person. Absolutely the worst customer service by employee Melissa. I have gone to this fed ex several times and I don't ever remember seeing this employee. I was first greeted by a nice young employee who was then hollered at by her coworker Melissa. Melissa was verbally demeaning and downright rude to this young worker. From what I observed it appeared the younger employee was newer to the position because Melissa found it necessary to criticize her quite loud in front of customers. I truly felt sorry and was embarrassed for the young employee. I wanted to say something but felt it would make for an uncomfortable working environment if I did. Especially since it was apparent they were the only two on shift. I physically stood there in the store with my 10yr old dtr who also witnessed Melissa as she criticized and then proceeded to order very loudly her lunch order on the phone. I called after I left and asked to speak to the manager but he was already gone for the day. I will be sure to call Monday and make a formal complaint about his employee Melissa. I can't believe they would put such an unprofessional person who absolutely lacks any teamwork or leadership in a position to train anyone ! read more

I have around 100 pages to print out, pages with just text - no graphics, just text. I can print them out here at home, but 100 pages is a lot for my printer. So I went to the FexEx office in Cornelius. Three times. The first time, they couldn't read the memory stick. "Too old", she said. I can read it on my new Macbook, and my husband can read it on his not-so-old IBM clone. But, okay, I came in a few days later, bringing my files in on a newer memory stick. This time, the staff person - different person - said neither she couldn't open the files. All the files were .txt or .rtf - doesn't get any simplier than that! Again, all our various computers, old and new, Mac and IBM clone, could open them all, no problem. But, okay, I sat here and converted everyone one of them to LibreOffice/OpenOffice - .odt, files that Microsoft should have no problem opening - they don't have a problem opening on any of our computers. Third times a charm, right? Nope: this time, the staff person had no idea what FOSS or open office was, and said she couldn't open them. If this office cannot manage the most simple of print jobs with the most simple of text files, how in the world could you expect them to do something more complicated?! read more

This place is the worst. They have the worst customer service and the people are all so rude here, you would think you would get an apology for their incompetence. When you walk in expect to be ignored. The manager is the only one that kinda knows what he is doing, but is barley there. He leaves his employees unsupervised that have no idea what they are doing. If you go into this place, make sure you have at least 30-60 minutes to spare. I suggest making the drive out to the 185th Hillsboro location to avoid a headache. Maybe some of the Cornelius employees could go learn a thing or two out at that location? read more

I had invitations for a baby shower printed and they turned out not very clear. Jen suggested that I get a higher resolution image to see if it would turn out better. I sent her a new image, she printed a copy then called me back within 20 minutes to let me know it was a success. She was very helpful and kind the whole time. It's hard to find great customer service these days so I really appreciate her effort. I will continue using FedEx for prints. Thank you Mel, you are awesome! read more
