My sister brought in a faux chinchilla blanket to be cleaned, when she picked it up, the tips of…read morethe hair had been singed off. The manager said she followed the instructions, which stated " dry clean recommended" but also said "machine was cold, tumble dry low". So the dry cleaning establishment, instead of dry cleaning, washed it and dried it in a machine. To my understanding, she said that the person who cleaned it followed directions (as she told me, they washed it in cold water and tumble dried it) but when she was on the phone with my mother earlier she stated that the cleaner '"washed it and hung it to dry". When I had entered the establishment to notify her on the complaint and problem we were facing, I politely gave her my name and reason for being there, she was rude and told me to take it back to the store and that it was their problem. I showed her pictures of the blanket before, the price, and the care instructions stated on the stores website. She ended up getting heated, not accepting responsibility, and calling the police. She repeatedly told me that it was not their fault and to take it back to the store. The fact of the matter is, that we brought it in to get cleaned in one state, and got it back in an unsatisfactory state. The blanket is ruined, and we are taking this business to small claims and filing a complaint with the BBB. ( also, to add the dissatisfaction of this business, when I was discussing this with another woman she not only knew exact who I was talking about, but as personally had issues with this same business. She had told me that when she took a item there, they also ruined it, and suggested she but a new item on ebay, even going to the lengths of showing her the exact page). Not only does this business have very poor guest service, but the quality of their work is deplorable. I wish I could give it zero stars.
