This post office is nothing special - you can drop off mail, you can buy stamps, you can send packaged, but you can't really buy any packaging (as I learned today). If you're planning on sending something, make sure it's already wrapped up and ready to go, or you'll be SOL once you get here. That being said, the most /wonderful/ employee, Rudy, works here. Why is he the most wonderful employee, you may ask? Rudy knows that they don't have any real packaging for sale here, but is prepared for circumstances where somebody might need a box or an envelope anyway. This isn't a guarantee, so don't go expecting him to give you a free box, but luck might be on your side! This guy not only found me a package, but also dealt with the fact that I forgot to give him to packing slip to put inside, and used his own tape to prep the package for me. In case that wasn't enough, he also happens to know every address in Del Rey, and my family as well, so we had fun little chit chat with this transaction. In terms of customer service, Rudy gets 5 stars. In terms of actual services and usefulness of this post office? Probably 2 stars. Rudy brings up the overall rating to 3 stars. You go Rudy.

While waiting in line with familes men, women and children, which most were of Spanish speaking only, others were walking out and I could hear them saying how rude Brian was towards them. He admitted to him making a mistake stating it went over his head while processing my mpassport form and immediately pointed the blame towards me in a very rude, unprofessional and unpleasant manner. If he does this to me I can only imagine how he treats the rest of the non english speaking community let alone a hostile work environment for his employees who appeared annoyed and frustrated by his behavior. I see so many customers that bring in items without proper packaging, no tape and expect employees to figure out everything for them. This causes long slow lines. It's easy to forget that upper management runs the show & postal workers don't have a choice. Our home mail is always delivered on time and properly. We have a wonderful mail man we love. Pick ups are on time and correct. People need to try to relax; our world is getting more & more complex and CS isn't a priority today.

I will give this post office a 4 …read more I read all the reviews & experience this postal office regularly for its in my neighborhood. The employees at the post office has nothing to do with the informed mailing system online. That is not thier fault. Long lines also not thier fault. The stealing of mail and packages also not thier fault. What they can do is tell the one lady with brown hair that usually is at the register closest to the door does have a bit of a inpatient rude attitude. She can be perceived as not nice. But she gets the job done and is pushing customers through the line as fast as she can. My father has worked with the postal service forever. He is retiring soon, I know how hard of a job it is for all them every position. I applaud them for working here and everyone on both sides should be kind. We all gotta live in this world lets make it a little easier for us all. The post office does not work for the government they work for us the people. They make sure we stay connected and get our mail where it needs to go. I buy stamps alot because I like to mail out letters and cards to friends and family.
