One of the notices in the tracking report stated "no one home or business closed". Absolutely not true! We are a private residence and no one needed to be home. This has never been a problem with FedEx but I am appalled. Customer service is a clueless virtual assistant so virtually no customer service. We will not be ordering anything from any company using FedEx from now on. Grrrr!

Don't let the tiny little building and strip-mall location fool you; this place is one of the most efficient UPS stores I've been to anywhere. It may not be big inside and yes, there was a wait (I was there over the lunch hour too), but the staff was moving things along as efficiently as possible (multitasking, honestly) and getting it all done. Also, doing all of the above--including the notary seal--was under $20, which was amazing!

I understand there are a lot of moving parts but several items were separated into 3 or more boxes with no information as where to locate them, towels had random yellow stains, rugged tools were damaged, delivery was a nightmare - no communication to unloaders that we are 3rd floor, unloaders were late by 3+hours, storage/home items mixed, Nondescript box labels. Things got moved but I wasn't impressed by the process.

The best way to sum things up is F&G is sadly "normal", meaning they suffer from the same societal disease diagnosed as lacking above and beyond customer service. You have to manage them - they won't manage you. Their communication, after the sale, was lacking expectation. Once paid in full, F&G never communicated again. Never told us "who" the contracted carrier was or how to reach them with questions. Never tracked our delivery or called to inform us the delivery date was extended (again) 2 days - a total of 3 days late. They were hands off with no attempt to illustrate an "extra mile customer service effort". We now wish we'd gone with the other, lower cost, local mover who we also used previously.
