This doesn't lead to much social distancing if there are more than one or two customers at a time. Fortunately, we were the only ones here and so I was able to purchase a sheet of ten post card stamps, apply them to our post cards, and drop them into the slot with no other customers nearby. She made the process extremely easy and had the quote to my inbox within 48 hours. I've amended the quote and as always Trudy is prompt, courteous, and reassuring. This move truly is catered to my needs without breaking the bank. They offer full pack services and car moving services (not towing or driving, actually on a truck) and charge by weight, not volume. Our belongings were packed carefully and expeditiously as they brought along about 7 people to help pack our 2800sqft house. The movers asked us before packing items if they had any questions and stickered every item for storage or new living space. They were careful not to ding up the house, they were courteous, and they did a fabulous job. Not ONE item is broken post-move. They went over the packing list with me post-pack to explain cost, materials used, labor, and show a detailed list of what had been packed. There had been a hiccup with our delivery truck due to weather (January in Maine), and they gave us the option of taking everything that day, or leaving us our bed and a few items to then pick up two days later when the truck arrived. We opted for them to take everything as we had an air mattress and enough to get by. I appreciated their willingness to be flexible and that they were sensitive to my emotions regarding leaving our beloved home. When the truck delivered our items, earlier than scheduled, everything was unloaded with care (though I think this was by an Allied crew). Our final cost was $600 less than expected. Woohoo! CMM&S has exceeded all of my needs, and I absolutely recommend them for your moving needs.

Their customer service is so maddeningly bad that their employees have caused me to change my plans of doing three or four loads of laundry to one load and a brief dry more than once. I take the rest of my laundry somewhere else rather than do laundry in a hostile climate. And I live across the street. Yeah. It's that rude. They are just rude; they will change a $20 for you or explain how long a quarter will run a dryer, but they wont be nice about it. Their goal in communications seems to be "lower the desire of people to want to do their laundry here so I can clean less and do less mechanical upkeep". Its too bad because its a nice, clean place to do your laundry. It has a parking-lot. It couldn't be more centrally located. It has large capacity washers and dryers for huge loads or big blankets etc. It has regular sized washers for $2.00 a load and regular sized dryers that get you twelve minutes of dry time for 25 cents. They have vending machines that sell laundry aids, snacks, sodas... They have change-making machines but no ATM. It's too bad. Except for the employees, Belfast Coin Laundry is a good laundry-mat.
