Postal services in Honolulu, Hawaii... Since I was in the airport area, I took my packages to this US Post Office. It's spacious, clean, and efficient! The parking lot is free and there are many spaces! They even have convenient drop boxes so customers don't have to get out of their vehicles to mail a small item such as a greetingcard!! If you go straight inside, there are several workers who will assist you. If you go to the right, there's a Self-service area for those who like to do it themselves. I liked the variety of boxes and envelopes available that were free of charge! I'm gonna use those next time - instead of buying envelopes! Lesson learned! I really liked this post office! There was no line and it seemed calmer than other locations!

The Grand Poobah... The post office to seriously get it done and though I don't come here very often it's THE place when you need to get it sent. This Daniel K Inouye International Airport in Honolulu is home to this US Post Office location as it's right beside Terminal 1 or Interisland Hawaiian Airlines and is easily found when following the signs provided. Parking here is decently available even during the peak of the holiday season as the line does move fast but they do provide places for some that need to pack and write on their packages/letters even with boxes outside for easy grab and go. They do have a separate area for their self serve kiosk which I absolutely love super fast and easy with a chute right beside to mail your items. Very efficient layout along with a drive by mail drop off so you don't have to leave your car places like this is what makes the stress of mailing items easy. Thank you!

This place is pretty convenient, large parking and several people working. I didn't have a long wait time. My only is after this sweet lady that took care of me requested for a worker to get boxes. The lady asked twice for me. And someone told the lady that was supposed to get the boxes to do something else. That Had me waiting for a while and then I noticed there were other people waiting. Someone finally got impatient and asked her for the boxes again and it took her two seconds to get them. So that was unnecessary. Or just put boxes out for people to get at their leisure. Other than that my experience was nice, and I won't make this one of my permanent stops

Even on a busy Christmas time at the Honolulu airport post office- I still found parking quickly. Workers are still courteous even with the long line of people that was moving smoothly along. The self-service machines were well used and alleviated some of the lines. I prefer this post office location since it is open on weekdays until 8pm

Located right next to the Hawaiian Airlines terminal this is the best post office e to hit if you're coming after work. Late hours and open on Saturday. There's tons of parking, an outdoor self-help kiosk and a supply of shopping boxes for purchase.

Gotta give some love to the United States Postal Service, especially at Christmas time. The line at main off never seems to go down but it moves pretty quickly. The clerks on the window, especially Gerry & Merril, are the best and keep the line moving. USPS has done a great job putting empty USPS flat rate boxes outside so customers can just grab and go. If you use click and ship, you can just drop your package off in the bin on the right side of the lobby. It is a great option if you don't want to wait in line. Just have patience with main office, not many clerks and since this is the hub, lots of customers trying to mail stuff off. The USPS clerks are always working hard, friendly and very helpful. I'll continue to use USPS main office for all my mailing needs. Merry Christmas!

Convenient location. It can get a little crowded but they usually have two desks running during peak hours. Definitely recommend this place for all your postage needs based on price - you can't beat USPS when it comes to price - and convenience - they cover the states thoroughly and have some decent international offerings as well.

Anyways, parking may be limited but there's always a few leaving so that is good! The USPS office here is pretty efficient with how they operate: send "it" and exit. It's pretty self explanatory. I entered with my lovely HI collection of Starbucks cups to ship off (the SB HI COLLECTION IS BEAUTIFUL BTW) and I think her name was Sierra who helped me at her window. I literally had nothing prepared because i planned to just bring those boxes into the car and pack them right away. I was going to take 2 brown boxes but before leaving with them so i can pack my stuff, an employee tells me that it can't go outside but it needs to be paid first... i guess the brown packing boxes here are of charge & then you have to pay AGAIN for the total weight of your items. Sierra explained to me about the differences between the flat rate boxes and the brown shipping boxes. Flat rate boxes, the ones that are red and white, is free of charge and you can take it outside with you. They will only charge for the rate of the box being that it can only hold up to 70 pounds ! Great deal. Sierra recommended a large and medium for the cups because and in total, it costed about $38 which i think is worth it for about 15 to 20 pounds total. She was very helpful and even lended me packaging tape. She said that a customer left it and i did so too... just in case if anyone else would need to borrow some! A customer to the next window with her daughter overheard me say "keep the tape, I'm sure someone else will need it in case" and she commended about it hehe. So i hope everyone else does the same at the post office! Thank you again, Sierra. I hope you get some SB HI collection cups tooo!!!

I swear everytime I come wait times are 20 minutes or more. Short staffed, complex mailing issues, too many packages? No idea. Space is small and cramped so lines wrap around the inside pretty quickly. No quick ship option. PO boxes available. Limited supplies (boxes, tape, cards, etc) on the inside. All I can say is youre better off trying to go to another location that has more efficient service and can get you serviced quicker. Don't waste your time waiting.

They have so many boxes out for people to take and even though there was a line, it went quickly. The guy scanned my QR code and took my box. It hasn't been scanned into the system though and it's been like 8 hours. I'm not sure how post offices work, but at the Ala Moana post office, the tracking on my packages starts only an hour or two after it's scanned. Idk why it's taking so long for this post office to start tracking my box. On my walk over, I noticed that there are quite a few hidden gems in the area. I am literally never in aiea, so this was a fun experience for me.

OMG! And the very next morning, He brought my letter back. She wrote upon it: Return to sender, address unknown. No such number, no such zone." - Artist: Elvis Presley The USPS has honored Elvis Presley, The King of Rock n' Roll by issuing commemorative stamps in his honor since August 12, 2015. I stood in line at this post office to get these Forever stamps as I still have SOME correspondence that I rely upon hardcopy letters (old school or just old?) rather than managing through online transactions. I am not a philatelist but, I enjoy seeing the new designs and tributes to various themes. So, what does this have to do with this neighborhood post office? This post office has friendly and helpful staff. There's hardly ever a crowd whenever I go there during the week days. I would NEVER dare go during Saturday or Holiday Season so I can't speak for those peak times. The building itself seems a bit run down but, there is a dedicated parking lot and to me, it's conveniently located right across the street from the Pearl City 24-hour Fitness Club. I roamed in to mail a flat-rate box to my brother-in-law in California and found that on my birthDAY these Elvis stamps were available. The postal worker efficiently processed my package and then asked if I needed any stamps or more products. Yes, I said...how could I pass on getting these stamps?! I just hope that whoever receives mail from me will be as excited about seeing these Forever stamps and won't return my mail. #419
