Now the bad, specifically our normal postal carrier. This nice lady has run into my vehicle, driven multiple times through my yard (50 yrds), has driven my wife and my son off the road. The best part, our local USPS does not care. Our carrier is untouchable. Recently she decided she did not like my road maintenance level. Which interestingly is not an issue for any other carrier, and I know that because I ask. Even my carriers fill in driver's have indicated they have no issues. These issues have been going on for nearly 20 yrs. I have even been tasked to fix the shoulder of the county road from damage caused by her full gas full brakes driving style. So now, which is not a bad outcome, she has been invited to never deliver to my property again, which will be safer for everyone involved. As an aside, this is yet another government agency that have some members who will take great satisfaction in their ability to lord over you and make you dance to their music because they are virtually untouchable.

I said what a waste of time and left. As I was walking out he shouted saying it's not my fault very defensively. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I admit the mistake was mine. This post office (known as the "Kent Midway" location) is not easily spotted from the street. You…read morecould probably drive past it ten times and never know it's there, but It's tucked in the same strip mall as Dollar Tree on Pac Highway just south of Kent Des Moines Road. (You can also access it from 30th Avenue South.). But once you're there, this post office has plenty of parking. It also has weird hours. The hours on Yelp are wrong, and I suspect it's because you can't include split hours on Yelp. I've included a photo of the hours, I hope that helps. But it may not help enough... Can you go before work? Probably not. Can you go during your lunch hour? Also no. But, there are rarely more than a few people in line (I'm looking at you, Downtown Kent Post Office with your long lines!), and the employees are always friendly and efficient. For that reason, it might be worth it to find this little postal location.

This is one of them and this is for THE post office. You could almost miss it, since it's basically a modular home on bricks. This post office is similar in style to the one in Bucoda. Small office for a very very very small town. It's across the street from a school and on the corner of the "T" street that one direction takes you toward Mima Mounds and Capitol State Forest and the other to whoknowswhere.com.
