Workers at the actual office are very friendly. Delivery drivers are terrible. Things marked delivered that show up days later. You just hope your stuff gets delivered to a nice neighbor who will deliver it to you. You get a notice saying it couldn't be delivered yet someone is home all day everyday. Sometimes they dont show up until 9:30p.m. Sure do miss our old delivery lady, she never missed. Not sure what the hiring procedure is but perhaps it should be re-visited. Are the drivers so bad they can't take mail and packages to a house when there is street construction going on in front of the mailboxes? On top of that, the postmaster will not let us move our mailboxes into our community so we are off a very dangerous road, especially in the wintertime. It would be easier for the carriers and the recipients. Mailboxes could be kept clear of snow in the winter time off of a road where it is dangerous to try to remove the snow the plow piles up in front of our mailboxes. Apparently this USPS isn't government owned, it's owned by a logistics company, and it shows. I've mailed numbers of packages out since October and they've lost 3 of them. I sell stuff online independently and it hits me hard when someone's purchase gets lost and I am out $40 because I have to refund the person due to the post office's negligence. Three packages lost around $40/each, so that's $120 gone from my account. The employees aren't very helpful and are basically the real life version of ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ "sorry, nothing we can do, it probably got stuck in a machine". The last time was the last time, I'm going to have to try going to Sunriver and hope that they are more reliable. read more

Every employee does what they think is right, and every employee does it differently. And they are not well trained. We had a package delivered there to "General Delivery" with our name at the top. The ninnies in the Post Office forwarded it to our residence in Arizona! They had no instructions to do that, and no authorization to do it either. But they create problems and are not responsible for resolving them. Im not getting my mail or packages and Im getting other people's mail. What is going on in LaPine? I love the gals at the desk but the delivery folks need some help, or something. We had a long awaited, late Christmas gift package sent back to the sender.UGH! We waited so long for it to get here and when it finds its way to Lapine, Someone sends it back?? Everyone working in this post office is very NICE, FRIENDLY, and EFFICIENT. I may not know why our delivery person keeps changing OR why my larger Amazon boxes are not being delivered directly to my home anymore (like they have done for the past 7 years) so now I have to wait in line to pick up my HEAVY BOXES... Klamath Falls is a little time machine in a way. The post office has the artifacts of what a post office use to be like. Rows of boxes and plenty o marble. A man came in to collect his mail. A rough looking dude with a worn face and a powerful mustache. We talked. He told me the town was pretty much used up. No jobs. I have a P,O, and a mailbox trying to see which is better they both recieve other peoples mail all the time. I have had multiple packages get "LOST" in the mail. One today as well.The mailperson only closes my mailbox when they feel like it. Its a real pain having wet mail all the time. My mail box is in perfect condition so it is operator error. I would give 0 stars but this website wont allow me. Several of my neighbors and myself have complained but it falls on deaf ears, last i heard the postmaster walked off the job. WTF does it take to just get service? I guess im gonna move because im not going to drive 30 miles to get a P.O. box in a different town. This is a cancerous problem in Lapine and any one that says anything positive about this place is a liar or a postoffice employee trying to make themselves look better. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The incompetency of this establishment is unreal. We have had issues with mail being stolen by the wonderful people in the area, so we got a PO box. The great post office of La Pine, Oregon not only has continued to deliver our mail to our mail box, (even after a forwarding address to our PO Box has been requested... TWICE), we didn't get our mail for a solid two weeks because our confused mailman was hoarding it. A simple conversation would have greatly benefited said mailman to not only make his job easier, but our lives significantly better so we could get our bills and miscellaneous other snail mail items in an orderly fashion. I like the older architecture of the building has a good location to downtown Klamath Falls and easy to get to for me. I'm surprised the building did not suffer more damage by the last big earthquake in the 90's I think. read more

I had a package sent to my work a phone to be exact a very much needed one FOR WORK but they did NOT deliver it to my business in fact they marked it as undeliverable. Would u like to know why?
