I never thought I'd put so much thought into a UPS store lol but when you compare it to the train wreck on Century, this store deserves a shoutout.

I simply needed help and I said well can you do it and she ripped the envelope my hand abruptly just put it on the tire like I swear my whole life I have never been treated this bad. I rarely get upset because the norm is poor customer service anymore. But I told her this is your job she says no you have to do your own Amazon packages. I said I'm a nurse I wouldn't ask you to give someone a shot for goodness sakes and I asked who her boss was and she says I'm the manager abruptly . I will never go to that store as by the liquor store and Safeway by Franklin ever again ever I called and talked to a lady at the century office and she was very sweet and helpful. I will go there. She said she would be happy to do my Amazon packages! not that I really have very much . I appreciated her kind words very much. True customer service I'm afraid is in the past.

Under new ownership, prices are significantly higher and services are lackluster to borderline inefficient and incompetent. I would not recommend this business to anyone as it is these days and that is based on the lack of quality services in addition to exorbitant price gouging as surcharges. In February I took a flat rate priority mail envelope to this location for mailing. The post office rate a flat rate of $21, but the PC female employee , whose name I didn't get, described as having several facial piercings, short hair perhaps an African American, as I am, lied to me about their rates, she said that the USPO had increased its rates two days earlier and now the rate to mail the envelope to LA, California would cost me $36, reluctantly I mailed the envelope out of necessity. However, three days later I was at the main post office in Bend and inquired from the clerk, if there was a price hike and was assured there had not been. The truth is that the additional $16 was a Postal Connection surcharge at this particular postal connection. At their discretion they added $21 USPO flat rate postal envelope that I mailed. Naturally, I felt angry that I had been lied to, taken advantage of &the victim of a severe price gouge. Furthermore my envelope didn't reach its destination, and I had to file a claim with the post office. On 11/21 I returned to same postal connection to drop off USPO Amazon prepaid return. It turns off the same delay assisted and I told her of the mistake she made, she recalled our encounter and told me it was not her fault that is the price, then finally she admitted it was the surcharge for me using their business versus the USPO she became agitated saying It's not he fault that the rates are what they are! Finally, she admitted there's a new Owner and these are their new prices. While, I was complaining to her then there's a white male, blonde hair employee who was helping an elderly male at the counter in there about said OK we made a mistake, just take the card I was waiting to pay for a greeting card, and just leave! He so rude and obnoxious. I told him I don't want a free card, and I simply left the store. In my haste I neglected to get my receipt for dropping off the Amazon return. Needless to say, I returned to the store mention that the female had given it to me, I assured him she hadn't, although he did not ask her or check/verify. He said "I could just give you the package back cause I can't print out another receipt." I said ok took my package back and left' Bottom line I'm only one of several folks who've been going to this postal connection over the years. However at the point under its new ownership and outrageously unacceptable services, I will never go back! Word to the wise, do NOT use this business if you have something that you want to mail through the post office or UPS. You would do better to go directly the USPO or the UPS across the parking lot by Walmart, The up charge for Postal Connection at 61141 S Highway 97, Bend 97702 is so outrageously overpriced and the customer service is poor & highly unacceptable. When I picked up the order in store one of the staff members was visibly sick and sounded absolutely horrible when coughing... into their hand. This person handled my order and my orders packaging. I left and felt perfectly fine for a little less than 24 hours then had an extremely sore throat appear out of nowhere. This later developed into the same sounding cough that the FedEx employee had. It is inexcusable and negligent to not only work while you are contagious but to not take any safety precautions like enhanced hygiene or wearing a face mask. Due to this employee I am now at the urgent care needing treatment. Shame on you.

I was informed that the email address had changed and I was pointed to the new address. Then I was informed that it costs $2 to print a shipping label. I asked what a regular copy costs. "$.50" Look, this is their place, if they want to charge $100 to print a tax form that is their prerogative, but looking at what I want to print then deciding what to charge disgusts me. I hope charging 4x is worth it to the (possibly new) owners since they have lost all of my goodwill.

Roads are clear, sun is shining, package has been on truck since Thursday 2/6 and yet today, on a beautiful sunny day, received message, yet another delay due to weather. UPS, DHL, FedEx Express and USPS have made their deliveries to our area. I managed to get the local phone number and I have been handing it out. May their switchboard be flooded. I contacted customer service at the company I purchased from and told them they may want to rethink their carrier options. I'm not the only one in my area fed up with them and their delays. People have had food spoil, Rx pet food delayed and medication. Not good practices FedEx. Also, more weather tomorrow....so I'm guessing more delays.
