A quality control check is very much standard procedure. Being music, it was important that the copies are usable. (I have had files printed before that were apparently reduced when scanned and I wanted to make sure these files were going to be OK.) After getting a song and dance that it would create more work (honestly, I thought that was his job!), I asked if there was a problem printing the test pages and the answer was "no". But that didn't stop the incessant arguments about paper sizes and anything else he could make a case of. It was totally uncalled for and I felt I was being harassed. I finally had to say I wasn't there for an argument, just to have my files printed. It was a nasty experience and I will think twice, nay thrice, before ever deciding to step foot in this place again. If UPS is going to hire such unqualified help, they need to up their supervision.

It was clear she assumed I was committing a crime--stealing mail, of all things. Only after realizing she had just racially profiled me did she attempt a weak, half-hearted apology. The situation could have been resolved with a simple, professional "Hey, why did you use that door?" instead of immediate hostility and accusations. This kind of blatant profiling is unacceptable, and the employees here clearly need conflict resolution training--or at the very least, basic respect for customers. If you value being treated with dignity, skip this place and take your business to FedEx instead.

Today the driver knocked on my door, and before I could make it to the door he left. I've gone to the Laconia NH facility and have spoken with quite a few supervisors about it and told them that the driver should be leaving them without requiring ANY signature as that is what I want as well as what the VA puts on every package label, and the supervisors say it is the driver's decision to require a signature when they believe it is a high value item. So, the customer has no say in how the package is delivered, it's the supervisor and driver's decisions on how the customer receives their package. Piss poor, if any, management skills are being used to run that facility. Instead take your packages to the Staples Store.

The interior could probably use a deep clean. Usually I'm just dropping something prepaid off (which is so easy to do with the ample counter space), but a few times I've had to wait to ship something out. I'm sure they're busy/actually doing something, but it has felt in the past like there's more employees behind the counter standing around talking then actually helping customers. The last time I was there, the person helping me ship out a package was friendly though!. Open 8am Monday through Saturday; closed at 6pm daily (except on Saturday when they close earlier at 4pm). Closed on Sundays.

Now, the carrier wants it to be moved, and his supervisor tells me that mail will not be delivered to me until it is moved. I have attempted to speak with the supervisor and had received attitude. Worried about safety of the carrier which, walks around to delivers to all the other "non-compliant" houses. Th VA, Attorney General's office, and my legal team are looking into this.
