FedEx is an absolute disgrace…read more We paid $75 for overnight shipping from East Meadow, NY to Clearwater, FL. The package was supposed to arrive Saturday. It didn't. When we called, we were told FedEx's system "mistakenly" scheduled it for Monday. Their error--and they refused to fix it. On Monday, it got worse. They couldn't even locate the package and told me I would have to go pick it up. No one could tell me where it actually was. I was sent from one FedEx location to another, wasting hours, with each location acknowledging the mistake but unable to resolve it. The only reason I even got the package was because someone finally located it at 7 PM the night before I was leaving--making the overnight service we paid for completely meaningless. The local employees were the only bright spot--they tried. The company itself is a failure. Then customer support. I was told to call for a refund due to their failure. Instead, I was passed around repeatedly until I reached someone named Claudia, who gave contradictory information, made things up as she went along, and ultimately refused to issue a credit despite the obvious failure to provide the service we paid for. FedEx lost the package, failed to deliver overnight, forced me to track it down myself, and then refused to take responsibility. This is not a delivery company you can rely on.

I don't need an attitude from the guy behind the counter because he has to stop his conversation & help a customer out. I also shouldn't be made to feel like a burden because he hates his job. He just walked up to the terminal & stared at me. I went to hand him the package & he annoyingly motioned with the scan gun to place it on to the scale. Like in a jerking motion. I did so. Again, never bothered to say anything to me. Printed up my receipt & again annoyingly handed it to me. Is this who you hire for your store?

Still being run down and somewhat antiquated, there are some self help stations upon entrance. Fees posted are somewhat confusing. As you enter the lobby there are options for mailing (hope you brought your pen) that are poorly organized and have incorrect prices on them. Fortunately, their saving grace is there staff. After having interactions with the delivery staff in my neighborhood that work out of this office, I was not surprised by the friendly attitudes of the staff in this office. 2 employees offered help, which seems to be a rare thing these days. Checking out was painless and service was for sure 5 star. It reminds me of going to a hidden hole in the wall for the best food. Customer service gets 5* and the layout and run down facility gets 3* for a happy 4*.

Not 100% sure but I think if you drop something off after the truck comes by then your package will be shipped out next day.
