I mean it's still a US post office but this location is far more pleasant and faster than the one down the street on Floyd Road I have never waited more than 20 min. The staff is friendly. I have had a constant and reoccurring issue with packages being delivered since moving to the area a few years ago and every time the post master at this location handles it personally. It's fast easy in and out, the downside is that there's only one person most of the time. They should definitely hire some people

Unfortunately I read the reviews before coming but did not have any preconceived notions. I asked a question and the response was very aggressive and turned out to be incorrect. After a back and forth exchange she finally gave me the answers I was seeking. My only suggestion is to "TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED ". You're in customer service and if you don't like customer service then ask to be put somewhere else. read more

This outside location just below Thorton Rd. is a sure shot to visit when you want to get your mail out in a timely fashion. If the lines are long and it appears to be a long wait there are service agents behind the scene to break your wait from minimal to moments. Todays visit was great! After the line accumulated there was a very articulate clerk that came out from the back and handled the line in real time, addressing all questions and concerns. This location is always a low volume mass from a users standpoint. But today the planets are aligning up some universal magic for our favor. There is ample parking in the lot and you have a self service station as well to get pass some of your straight forward transactions. 11/23/21 - WHY OH WHY do I keep giving this post office another chance?! I went in today and a family of 4 was at the window getting passports. That left only 1 other worker taking care of customers for a looong time. She was a rude black lady wearing a harley davidson shirt. Post office workers are supposed to wear a uniform and are even paid for that uniform. There was 1 customer in front of me and she finally got tired of waiting, threw the items she was going to buy on the counter and stormed out. I figured since I was now next in line, I'd wait. Well, I waited and waited and waited. The passport family was being overly talkative and the nice older black lady was indulging them even though the line of customers was growing and growing. The kids didn't like their passport photos so the lady was retaking them. I finally spoke out in frustration to the 8-10 people in line behind me how this wait was "PAINFUL" and that I "USUALLY GO TO AUSTELL" because lithia springs is so slow. The harley shirt wearing lady sarcastically told me I could go ahead and go to austell if I wanted. LOL. I told her NO THANKS since I was next in line. This place is so bad. I bet it is one of the worst post offices in the entire country. Everyone in this post office needs to be fired except the nice older black lady. She's so sweet and helpful. The red haired mail carrier is the rudest person I've never even met ! She didn't like I put a note asking to close mailbox and since then she refuses to deliver my mail . Said my box was too low even tho she had been delivering to us for months. I fixed the box and she still refused to give me my mail. And the supervisors condone this behavior cause they don't rectify the situation. I have to constantly call or email or complain to the inspector general and all I want is my mail . This last incident the carrier told them she gave me the mail when clearly she rode past my house and gave me the bird instead. She doesn't want you to talk to her or ask questions and now she want to be petty with a stranger . Clearly she has internal issues and needs more than a job . The supervisor renicha also developed an attitude with me I guess because I'm always calling to get my mail instead of making this mail carrier do her job . The are condoning unnecessary childish behavior. Even have the clerk on camera saying how nasty of an attitude the mail carrier has and how she cursed him out before . Every worker I have come across at this location has an attitude. It's clear they don't like working with customers and yet still choose to have this job. I would not recommend going to this location unless you want to deal with workers who could care less about you and speak to you in a condescending way. Unacceptable. read more
