I found that the it had been "attempted" to be delivered two days ago and again yesterday, but that they couldn't deliver it because there was "no authorized recipient". To me, that would indicate that they knocked on the door and no one was home or perhaps someone wasn't home but they wouldn't accept their signature. The only problem is that we have a Ring doorbell and I checked the times that they claim to have attempted delivery and to my great surprise (sarcasm) there was no history of anyone trying to deliver anything to my door. Which means that the postal worker got to my house, saw a package that needed a signature, and just decided to leave a little note for me in the mailbox rather than get out of their car and knock on the door. This is unacceptable and stinks of laziness and deceit! The note makes it appear that they attempted to deliver it and just couldn't, but that couldn't be further from the truth, which is that they didn't want to get out of their vehicle. -10 stars! Terrible service and outright deceitful practices!

Upon the second delivery attempt, I got another lame excuse and was told I had to go pick up my package from the Colville office. I've only been to the Bellevue and Redmond Post Offices here, and I was very very disappointed with the Redmond Post Office. The location itself isn't TOO bad, but it is a little out of the way. There's ample parking places, but quite a few spots are occupied when you show up. The customer service are itself has been crazy both times I've visited. I have visited at noon and at 2 p.m. and both times there was only one employee and a line of people almost going out the door. Once you get through the 20 minute line, the employees aren't particularly friendly. The people I've interacted with came off as rude and a little condescending. After two consecutive negative experiences, I don't plan on returning to this location unless I absolutely have to.

I know I know...drive another 22 miles after hitting a deer? Yeah, well it was my first accident since I started driving and I knew that I wouldn't be able to get roadside assistance so I wanted to get to a somewhat big city. I had been to the nearby Coulee Dam and Grand Coulee, which aren't big, but I could at least stay the night there. Anyway, about the post office, it's really small but generally cute for this small town. There is no APC, just old brick and mortar postal customer service and 24 hour post office access. One more post office to cross off my list. I'll never forget it.
