He said he needed proof of the old address with my girlfriend's name on it. I told him we would come back the next day, but she found a letter with the old address in my car, so we went back at the same time and waited. Another man helped me, who seemed angry. He told me to show him my green card or whatever it was I had shown the previous person, and this was only because I was speaking Spanish with my girlfriend and because of my Latino appearance, because all I had to do was say "ID, not residency." Bad service and racism!! And if you need help, contact me; my girlfriend has proof of the service date!!!!

I walked in and it was crowded! It must have been prime time to drop packages or something because u had to wait on line for a bit. Lines move fast because the postal workers know what they are doing. The location is on Montauk Highway and therefore is easy to find. Parking is plentiful and is on a relatively small lot. When I asked for a supervisor, they left me on hold. Finally I looked up the person who the package is addressed to and found she has my package. She too called FedEx to report the problem. Of course, being that it is the post office, the workers worked slightly faster than a snail's pace, which is better than some offices. Probably waited about 5 minutes or so to pick up some stamps. The worker was courteous, no complaints there. The building is absolutely gorgeous and you can tell has been around for some time in terms of its historic design. Street parking is free out front.
