Try to call about picking up my mail in person. All I get is a phone AI or whatever trying to figure out how they can solve my issue without talking to a human being. The computer keeps asking why I am calling and then trying to suggest that something different than I said. It's frustrating in a waste of my time. Finally they said that we connect me to someone in 14 minutes. I think if most businesses ran like this they would be out of business certainly out of customers. read more

the woman who works at the Moorestown Post Office is AWFUL!! she is rude... ALL THE TIME! I have been in here several times over many years and have never heard her be kind to a customer. she is always making everyone's lives more difficult and stressful. I don't know why this post office has so many bad reviews. I have never had any trouble here; in fact I've seen customers behave very rudely to the employees. I personally go out of my way to come to this location because I find them to be friendly and quick. Occasionally they are a tad brusque at the end of the day when they're trying to get through everyone quickly and go home. But they're also open one hour later than anywhere else in the area, so it's better to be grateful than upset. Be respectful, be patient, be polite, and be understanding. Had a 1:30pm appointment (done online) for our son's passport renewal on Jan.14,2025.. To our disbelief the passport acceptance clerk office is closed and only 1 employee is manning the whole office. When we told him that we have a passport appointment he told us that the clerk did not report for work and he dont have any idea why the clerk was absent. He further told us that whole morning, he was being bombarded by questions by people who had similar appointments why the hell was there was no call/text/email telling them or us that we wont be able to do our passport business for the day bec. the clerk did not show up!! Its was really so frustrating and irresponsible for this USPS Office to do that to their paying public!! Been having 2nd thoughts about this particular office before i made the appointment coz the previous reviews were downright horrible! But silly me i thought there are no such irresponsible government workers who will do that (as i myself works in the gov't) but oh boy was i foolishly wrong, should have trusted the reviews.. The workers seem to be genuinely nice. However, there is a sign in bold and highlighted hanging in the middle of the counter that says "If you do not have your passport documents completed when you arrive for your appointment, you must reschedule online. NO EXCEPTIONS". When I arrived, there was a family of 4 at the counter for their passport appointment calling people in other states asking them about their birthdates and locations to complete their forms (both parents on their phone with relatives). Were they told to reschedule? Nope. There were only two postal clerks and one was wasting everyone's time waiting for this family, who clearly can't read, to complete their forms at the counter. During the lunch rush. I would have no problem if there wasn't a sign saying No exception. If you are going to make rules, enforce them or hire more clerks. read more

The people at this post office are miserable. The moment you walk in they rush you. I went for my daughter's passport and they weren't even knowledgeable. I wasted my time. I made another appointment and they told me because I wasn't ten minutes early they couldn't honor my appointment. They were all nasty and no one smiled. I have to share my concern with the wicked witch of the Moorestown Post Office; IDA! She is unequivocally unkind, rude, and downright bizarre. She has refused to accept packages because "We don't ship plants" (they DO!) and, worse, when I went to ship 6 boxes of sheep fleece to be cleaned, she refused to accept them, saying, " We don't want your bugs here!" I contacted the annex and was told she is absolutely WRONG! I hate going to this post office because of HER! After reading reviews (that refer to her by name) that echo my own experiences with her, I am led to wonder why has she not been fired? read more

This post office a major joke. They don't deliver packages on time....excesses range from..oops sorted wrong bin...oops put on wrong truck...someone quit.... Like today...again...not delivered and says on tracking...could get to front door. Seriously?? Had this before...called...was told..oh that is just what we put in as an excuses. I would give zero stars for Ida, she is a miserable person and seems to enjoy making life difficult for anyone who walks through the door for no reason. it's gotten to the point I will let other folks go ahead of me in line just not to deal with her, but those who know will politely refuse because they don't want to deal with her either. The other employees try but seem burnt out having to make up for her. I feel bad for them. She flat out lied to me and said I couldn't take a photo of a package with the label on it so I could upload it to the person I was returning it to. I found out afterwards that is not at all true. Also said I was required by law to have a return address on a package. Also a lie. You risk not having it returned to you if it gets lost but not "a law". Again, it seems to make her feel superior to bust someone's chops for the heck of it. read more

Today my 74 year old disabled mother rode her electric wheelchair to the post office to mail some letters and a small package. I just pulled up to the house getting home from work as she was pulling up on her electric chair. I could tell she had been crying. Immediately asked her what happened? ! Are you OK? What's going on?! She began to tell me the story.. She made her way up the ramp into the post office but then realized the gate system inside was extremely narrow to get through to the front line. She mentioned this to the postal worker there. she told me the woman just shrugged her shoulders. She again said excuse me I don't think I can make it through here. Another customer in line said here I'll take your packages and your mail upfront for you. Just then that same woman postal worker at the counter said no I have to ask her specific questions about the package she's mailing you cannot do that. It was at that moment I knew exactly who she had been dealing with and my blood started to boil. For the third time my mother told the woman she did not think she was going to make it through the turns to get to the front. The woman said it looks like you can to me. With that , instead of holding up the line, already embarrassed my mother proceeded to try and make it through the narrow pathway to the front of the line. Her chair got stuck , she got flustered and accidentally hit the high speed button on her wheelchair. Her chair broke one of the panels and she could not get her self unwedged. As she was telling me the story I asked her the description of the woman and it was confirmed..I knew who treated her this way. The wicked witch of the Moorestown post office. Terrorizing postal customers for many years now. IDA the rotten. she will argue with you about ANYTHING for sport, Verbally assault you, ruin your day and then in the sweetest possible way after she's done she will ask... Would you like stamps today? my mother continued with the story... at that point Ida was gone for the day and another postal worker came out to help her and comfort her as she sat wedged in the middle of the post office crying. Another woman who was in line and watched the entire incident was also comforting my mother and taking pictures of the broken panel and asking my mother if there's something more she would like to do . She witnessed this horrible scene. I can tell you this... They are VERY lucky that they were closed by the time I heard this story. Humiliating and not helping a disabled person who clearly was asking for help not to mention having an antiquated facility that is not ADA accessible. You can bet your ass I will be at that post office first thing In the morning. read more

This post office is a perfect example of why this government run agency is failing. On the travel.gov website it was listed that there was a passport event scheduled for first time applicants and children under 16, the event was 12/8 9-1pm. After calling the post office three times to confirm ( but no one ever answered) I assumed they were really busy. I gathered up all of my documents, and packed my 3 kids (5 and under) to head to this event. When we arrived they told me they weren't doing passports. I explained that there was an event scheduled for today as stated and they looked dumbfounded. I was told maybe there would be one in January. Apparently the post master never told them about it. The woman told me to go to a different agency that could do it in the mall. THIS IS WHERE MY TAXES GO... federal employees getting paid for jobs they aren't fulfilling. I'm sure Megan Brennan will never read this, but maybe the Burlington County post master can see there is a huge disconnect among this federal institution and services other than basic mail needs are not being handled as outlined as post office services available. read more

Very unprofessional. Ida was rude, and impatient. I realize that firing a federal employee takes an act of God, and I don't wish this on her. However, her supervisors need to give her a wake up call or take her out of her current position and put her in to something that she does not interact with customers. Everyone has bad days but based on the other reviews this does not seem like an isolated event. I asked her a couple questions and she seemed put out. I asked for a paper clip and by her body language you would have thought I asked her for her first born child. I attempted to take a picture with my phone of my envelope I was sending out, and she nearly ripped my head off (for lack of better terms). "YOU CAN'T TAKE PICTURES IN HERE!!!" If she didn't want me to take a picture she could have handled it in a more professional manner. Whether or not I was in violation is not the matter here, its how she handled it. read more

I agree that they have terrible customer service. There is one gentleman that is polite but seems to be burnt out as all government/city workers seem to have the same attitude. There is one woman in particular that is absolutely awful. It seems as she wants to go out of her way just to not be helpful! It almost appears that she gets pleasure out of providing dissatisfaction to her customers. Terrible experience here on more than 1 occasion. Very sad. read more

This post office should get 0 stars. Truly. It's a disgrace to the town. Most anyone at the customer retail counters are MISERABLE and RUDE. They need to all go. There is no self service machine here either which is so behind the times. All of the other surrounding post offices have these machines EXCEPT HERE. (Maple Shade, Cinnaminson, Mt. Laurel, Delran) There is almost always a long line here and couple that with slow, lazy, rude employees and you are in for a terrible experience!! read more

Going to the post office has never been one of my favorite things to do. However going to Moorestown Post office ranks right up there with having a root canal done. Ida- I can't say I've ever met a more volatile, argumentative, miserable person in a customer service position. Is it THAT difficult to find postal employees? Why is she still employed? God forbid you ask for a pen since there is never any to be found anywhere. And a piece of tape to secure part of your package coming open? Oh god no...You might as well be asking her for a Kidney. I was forced to pay $4.95 for a whole roll when I needed ONE little piece. Her response "We don't have tape for customer use" The guy at the other counter is simply indifferent and lacks any sign of emotion. This being said I try to strategically position myself in line to get him over IDA and cross my fingers while I wait. I wont even go there at all now. I've learned its not worth the mental anguish. I reluctantly went into the Moorestown Post office to purchase a money order to place in a priority envelope to mail. When I purchase the money order and asked to pay for the postage for the priority envelope, IDA said NO, you have to get back in line to pay for the priority envelope. I explained that I need to fill out the money order before I can place it in the priority envelope. She refused to allow me to purchase the priority postage, fill out the $10 money order and hand it back to her in the priority envelope. It's the holidays and IDA could've used common sense and engaged some customer service but instead she made a conscience decision to not do the right thing. After standing in line I asked her counterpart Bill about IDA's behavior and he ignored me. I asked for the Postmaster's name and Bill reluctantly and with attitude stated "Lester". When you attempt to contact the post master via the phone, you get caught up in the loop of phone prompts. My advice, stay away from this post office and take the drive down the road to Mt. Laurel or Maple Shade. read more

Today I went in with 25 bubble mailers with my hand made art prints inside of them. I get orders fast and need to ship them fast. They are all sealed and ready to be sent out when I get there. I've done this 3 times the past 30 days all with a similar experience. This morning I walked in to three employees who seemed open to take a customer. I was the only one in the store at the time. I walked over to the older man and he was taking care of me. He informed me of all the necessary info such as pricing and how to handle them since they were delicate prints. He tells me that it is overwhelming that I brought so many in at one time to be sent out. I asked him how to go about it next time to make it more convenient for them, he says (irritably) there's nothing I can do but if he gets backed up he's going to make me wait... There's still two people not doing anything behind the counter. The older, more frustrated woman, behind the counter offers to take half the load that's left to help him out which I thought was nice. She then starts bending my package asking what's in it and if it's valuable... my expensive art print is undoubtedly ruined at this point. She then gives me attitude when I ask her why the package she is stamping is more expensive than the ones the other gentleman is doing. She gives me an angry answer, saying that she is doing it the right way and that's that. I left with paying one half of my packages more expensive than the rest... I did ask why that was happening and tried to understand why she was being so vile, but I happily paid the extra money to get away from that woman. She was horrible and he was apathetic to what was going on. They were both rude and I am sincerely not happy with that post office. I will never go back there again. I will happily sit at a DMV for five hours before I spend another 15 minutes in there. read more
