However, if I live just .03 miles beyond the maximum delivery distance, is it really that much of a burden to simply deliver my packages? At the very least, extending the operating hours would help those of us who work for a living to send and pick up our parcels. I receive many packages essential for my job, and when I can NEVER GET THEM or cannot pick them up, it causes huge problems for my family and me. The most frustrating part is when I finally reach the post office, I have to stand there for hours, telling the clerk repeatedly to go back and locate my package, because for some reason they are eager to tell me "noooo we doughnut half eet" five times before finally finding it and handing it over. They did this with a Mac All-in-One desktop computer- the package was enormous, but it took them four attempts to find it. I don't think I have ever been more frustrated in my life! And this is just one of many ridiculous experiences I've had with the staff at this location. This town has a HUGE problem with hiring family members and friends instead of competent, serious workers who know how to do the job.
