I agree with the other (damaging) reviews, this location is often terrible--service is often slow or bad in other ways--like waiting while the post office person talks about their vacation, or mutual friends, etc. while other patrons are waiting. I have, like some others, left in frustration after a long wait. Once I went to the Springville P.O. the next day, to mail the item I'd tried to mail in Orem, and it was a world of difference. This post office is always so busy and the workers move at sloth like speed. You will never get in and out under 30 minutes. The workers here are also really unhelpful. I will literally drive the extra 15-20 minutes to go to another post office because they will help you choose boxes and tape your packages where as this post office will stare at you like an idiot for 5 minutes before telling you to purchase some tape and boxes and come back or go to the end of the line. I have left here crying more times than I want to admit because the workers are so rude. read more

Terrible experience here. First, they're super slow. Second, I came to them with a package I was wanting to return and they told me they could print a return label but wouldn't. Sent me off somewhere to find one. I asked for an address of the location they were talking about and they told me to just look it up as they rushed me out of post office. Came back with return label and package however I didn't have tape, but I knew post offices had tape. They told me they had some but only for employees, but I could buy one for $5. Longest wait everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Showed up at 2 pm on a Thursday. You wouldn't expect the wait to be that long, right? HOLY COW -- I waited for 45 minutes!! And that's only because people in front of me were getting angry and leaving after 25 minutes of standing at the same point in line. Two women in front of me had 2:00 passport appointments but were still waiting when I left at 2:45. They had appointments!! And they still had to wait at least 45 minutes! It was sort of ridiculous. This situation would have been different if the employees were at least trying to hurry, but the two employees (one of which who worked solely on passports) were very inefficient and sauntered back and forth between the counter and the back room. One of the ladies disappeared for a 10-minute stretch to look for a package. If you see 15 people standing in line, maybe you should try to be a little more efficient? Just a suggestion. I was clearly not the only person who was frustrated by this experience, as I witnessed at least 5 others walk out of the building after waiting for a while. The four people in front of and behind me all said they would give this post office 1 star. Apparently this experience isn't unique to today -- I heard a few people say that a long wait it typical here. If that's the case, schedule another employee! Figure it out, USPS. read more

Unlike others, I've never had a bad experience here. They're as fast as the length of the line and the number of people on duty. They take the time necessary to help you and move to the next person. Duh. There isn't some magic pool of spare people in back to help out during busy times. This isn't Costco. When I get to the front of the line, they've always been professional and helped. That's all I ask, and they meet or exceed expectations. Much of the time, I can just use the automated systems and mail things without seeing anyone. I like that too. read more

My Priority Mail package was accepted at this facility on 3/11/24 but has been marked Package Acceptance Pending. Now 3/19/24. I checked with the shipper and was informed that it is normal. The facility does not answer the telephone. This has been confirmed by other reviewers. My Post Office is the opposite. Smiling happy folks are prompt and professional. Whenever I send a package to my daughter in Orem, they are never able to get it to her on time. I always have to track down the package and either have her pick it up from the post office or schedule to have them redeliver it to her. Next time I send her a package, I will have to send it at least a two weeks early to make sure she gets it on time. When I call them, I usually get someone that is never helpful. Ugh? read more

It's a post office, nothing exciting or fancy. It's generally clean, the service is good (shout out to my girl Angie who always has her crap together and knows what's going on). The biggest plus of this location is the self serve kiosks, which are useful if you already know which postal product you need to purchase. All positives aside, it's crowded, and nothing sucks more than a crowded post office. Despite their best efforts to keep a line moving the fact of the matter is that there's a line and that's no fun. read more

This is a government joint so you can expect the service to be as slow as molasses in sub zero temperatures. And its just that. The insult added to that common injure is the isle of asphalt they call a parking lot. One way in and one way out means you'll run into a ton of jackasses blocking the way waiting for a spot to open up. Go to any other Post Office! They have the same 2 women there every time, and they could not move any slower if they tried. They are often rude, and definitely don't have any concern about trying to be faster or helpful. The lines are always long and they don't care whatsoever. They will leave your postmarked packages piled up right on the counter, where anyone could come in and take them. One of the women can barely move or stand and can't even lift a box. My trips to the post office are of typical fashion - I tend to get one of three clerks. There is the older woman who looks like some sort of bird, thought I can't put my finger on which one. She's pleasant yet terse and gets the job done; the woman who I'm sure had permanently eyeliner done (ouch!) and never has a smile on her face - it's sad but kind of annoying; last there is the woman with fierce red hair who makes a two minute stop to the post into a 20 minute ordeal...supa slow. However, this afternoon I had to stop in to ship some documents off, and was greeted by an older gentleman, likely in his mid-60s. He made this my most pleasant post office experience to date. He actually had a sense of humor, something I didn't expect. You must be pretty impressive if an entire yelp session was made simply because of your service. I'm sad that I didn't catch his name, but I hope to be served by him again when I need to go to the post. Unfortunately, you never can do anything about the lines at the post office. When I came in, I was next in line immediately. But in the short amount of time I was being helped, six people came into the line. The man helping me told me that I was popular because everyone followed me into the office. I wished him luck with all of them and was on my way. Just have a issue with my mail box. Trying to figure out when the mail man comes so I can talk to him about getting my package in my big box next to the mail or get some help on the phone is impossible. As my local post office I have been visiting this location almost everyday for the last 5 years for both business and personal needs. The staff is fairly helpful in most shipping needs. They provide all forms, tape, and pens if needed. The biggest problem is their work hustle. Over the past five years I have noticed that most DO NOT care if there is a big line. They do not work any faster, no matter what. They will take their time in all situations, which is sometimes annoying but if you can avoid high traffic days and times (Mondays; an hour before close; afternoon) then you are fine. Bottom Line: Most employees are very helpful and have been there a long time. AVOID high traffic days/times because they take their time no matter how busy they are. read more

Efficiency her sucks. They only have 2 people up front and at least 15 people in line. I waited at least 25 minutes. The girl who was at the counter was beyond slow. She would sort packages and take them to the back before helping the next in line. When I asked for a roll of priority mail stickers it took her almost 5 min to go find them. (The guy in the back, where we are normally told by their employees to go for business drop offs and to grab something quick was rude to me and told me I had to go up front and wait in the line) and if this is the case that the front desk has to give them out then they should know where to find them and have them accessible. This is a great post office. The workers can be exceedingly slow, this is to be expected, but they are pleasant and offer great customer service. There are writing materials(pens) for use.
