This post office may be the worst post office in Morris County...people there guess wrong often...ebay notified me that a package i needed to get was being held at my request...however mail was to be held starting the following day ...went to post office and was told it was not being held and carrier would deliver...2 hrs later at 3:30 called post office and said it would be delivered...now its 5:30 and its still not here...asked neighbor and said mail was delivered at 11:30 am ...like i said this post office just cant stop making mistakes and its just who they are.. read more

It's always a bit of a hit or miss on whether you're going to have a worker with a poor attitude upon your visit. I've gone to this location only a handful of times, but I prefer not to go if I don't have to. I had a package that was being held at the location and the worker seemed hesitant to let me take it, even with proof of ID, I was practically interrogated. With other visits, I've been in and out quickly without issue. The biggest perk of this post office is that the location is easy to get to, other than that, there's really no appeal. read more

Read all the reviews for passport so I was very nervous to go to my appointment. I was met with quick service and Pooja was wonderful and made the experience quick and made sure I had ALL the right paperwork and gave me all the information I needed. She made sure I filled out the checks as needed. I would come back for passport services. She was very nice, helpful, and quick. Not sure of all the bad reviews. She said in about 2 weeks I can check the status of my passport. 11 - 8-23 it's been three weeks and I already received my passport. And I DIDNT request expedited shipping. This post office is the anomaly...the glitch in the Matrix...the Gilligan to the Skipper... Ok, silly comparisons aside, this is the best post office I've been to in years. Every single time I go here, whether there is a line, it's closing time, or they just opened the people here are always pleasant and helpful. I don't know why the people of Parsippany got so lucky, but I have never had an issue here...other than it closes a little early (which is why I end up going to the Harrison, NJ post office during my lunch most of the time). This is also a passport facility, but from what I've seen you need to plan WAY ahead if you want to use this as your passport office as they book quickly and you MUST make an appointment. Aside from that, if you need postage there are machines in the lobby, as well as mail slots to just drop off mail so you don't have to wait. Still, the biggest selling point here are the people...how many USPS offices can you say THAT about? read more

This is a huge post office with lots of workers and services. However, I only use this branch for the 24hr self service machine. This cool bit of tech allows me to ship packages and over size envelopes 7X24, 365. I love having that flexibility. I don't like having only one way in and one way out but that's about it. read more

Not busy in the morning. Drop off package at ease. Very friendly postmen. Not sure how it is in the afternoon or noon time but the parking lot is full at times. I wish I could give this establishment 0 stars. They are by far the worst postal service ever. They have lost so many of my packages and mail and if you ever try to call don't bother they never answer the phone. One time I lost a package which USPS claimed to have dropped off in my mailbox...turns out they dropped it off to house all the way down the street and then had the nerve to say the dropped it in my mailbox. Another incident I expressed shipped a hat to wear for super bowl claimed to have dropped it off to me turns out they didn't. I showed up the next day at 845 knowing they open at 9 I walk into post office and there are about 5 people waiting, 9am rolls around and no one from the post office is unlocking the lobby doors turns out the lost the one key to the main entrance door because someone misplaced it after waiting almost 45 minutes to be let in and over 10 people waiting they now assist through this side door and over 6 people were also waiting for misplaced packages. I was able to speak with a supervisor who had nothing of use to say he went to back and after 15 min someone came to finally let us all in. The supervisor comes back and apologizes and stated the driver left the package in his car. My issue is how can an establishment claim to drop a package off to my doorstep but now when I go looking for it it's in his truck? ridiculous no one knows what their doing. The few people that do work in customer service there are so rude. They day of them losing the key this one employee was so rude laughing rolling her eyes not showing any respect for all the people who have been waiting over an hour. They are terrible and it's never changing it's been like this for years. I am yelping today because what do you know they claimed to deliver a package to me but guess what it wasn't in my mailbox. The worst customer service EVER from the Parsippany Post Office!!! first off I get scanned emails of the mail I should be receiving for the day, I have been calling them for over a week because I have not been receiving my mail! I have called in everyday for over a week and NO ONE there can give me a straight answer as to where my mail is!! this is the second time that I have had to complain to them about them losing my mail and holding mail that was not supposed to be held as they did this to me when I first moved to my current location. The supervisor, Florence, is a rude B*tch who kept cutting me off as I tried explaining to her what the issue was and told me she was tired of me calling in everyday ( sorry for making you have to actually DO YOUR JOB Florence and have you get off your lazy ass!!!) that I would have to come on in order to find out what was going on with my mail!!! umm, is that not the post offices job to KNOW where the hell my mail is??!!! I also spoke to a Sabir Grimes, who was just as useless!! he asked me to email him my scanned missing mail and has yet to respond to my email and when I call to speak to him he puts me on hold !!! So I go to the lost office and they still had no answers for me and Sabir Grimes was just as useless and rude in person as he was over the phone!! Office and its staffs are nice, but the mail delivery lady service is not acceptable. We were home all day, no one knocked on the door. But we found a miss notice for a well-under $100 parcel. Either she did not come to the appt or did not knock. We wait for her the next day, she did not bring for redelivery, Refuse to leave it to the building admin with our consent, very hard to communicate, very unfriendly, not customer-oriented.
