The wait is horrendous! However considering this is my neighborhood go to post office I can't say anymore... I have been coming here for at least 20 years now. There were no modifications to this place, kept very much the same. Wish they made it bigger. On average the wait is at least 20 min to get service. I think they should open another post office for south Philadelphia cause this neighborhood is huge! Recommend faster service or more employees

Nothing makes me want to pull out my hair, fling myself to the floor and beat my fists like this particular post office. Nevermind the quaint, antique-y post office boxes -- they are just a decoy, a beard if you will, to distract you from the tooth-gnashing frustration of waiting twenty-five minutes to buy ten stamps. There's no stamp vending machine, there's never more than two people working ever, there's no sign explaining how shipping boxes work, and entitled old locals feel free to cut the entire line, mouthing nearly-intelligible sentences that could be "Imma just droppin' sumthin' off." No matter what time you go, be prepared to spend at least half an hour of your day in here. I'd advise Xanax and some kind of soothing mantra. Om Mani Padme Hum grrrrrrrrrrrr

Friendly customer service, parking is a bit difficult. There was only two employees working behind the desk, so the wait time was on the longer side, especially because all I needed was a stamped envelope. Their was about eight people in front of me when I walked in which was surprising because the place opened up only twenty minutes beforehand. I feel as if they need another employee or two working behind the counter to assist with customers.

Yeah right. No such thing as customer service here.

Aside from the impossible f-ing city parking around there and having to park far away, it's just peachy.

This branch gets a bad reputation for the long wait times but the employees are really lovely.

What's worse, I found out that the size in my file was incorrect, but no one said anything at the time of payment. A professional service should catch issues like that or at least inform the customer before proceeding. Instead, I was charged for a product that wasn't right, and the staff didn't seem to care. Completely disappointing experience. I won't be returning. RESPONSE to the your comment below : Hi, thanks for your response. I appreciate you acknowledging my concern, but the issue goes beyond just a simple mistake. When I pay for a service, I expect attention to detail and clear communication -- especially when something in the file could affect the final result. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here. It was frustrating to walk away with a product that wasn't what I needed, and with no real effort made to resolve it at the time. I hope this feedback leads to better service for future customers.

I converted the file (a tedious task, but I took them at their word) and returned it in 48 hours. It is now nearly Christmas day, yet I never heard from the store again. I had to produce all the addresses by hand to get the cards out. Every time I called to get the status, I was told they were short-handed. There was no concern about my deadline. I was a returning customer, but never again. Unless they have a wholesale change in their staff and management, I recommend that you never frequent this store yourself.

Parking is definitely the hardest part, but that's just something you should expect if you came into Center City / Rittenhouse trying to do an errand. Service: always friendly, fast, and effective. Things move so fast here that I'd be _tempted_ to not pay for my parking because I might make it back in time. But only tempted, because the PPA be sneaking up on you in the craziest ways, and I don't risk it anymore. Interior: other UPS stores kind of have a visual clutter to them that makes it sometimes hard to know where to go, or even to get around the store. This place, despite being smaller than most stores, has things organized and cleaned up to a T. No sweat figuring out where to go, and how to get things done in here. Overall: Good place to stop by if you're a local! Sounds like many others have had good experiences with more complex shipping needs. Be aware of limited parking, and the potential need to circle the block if you're not willing to just hazard in the street.

With my first move in 2020, there was a bit of a scheduling issue, causing the movers to arrive later than originally scheduled and with a van rather than a truck (I had been told that it would be a truck in order to fit all of my belongings into one trip). Therefore, it ended up taking two trips. However, the owner made things right by only charging me the original rate for one trip. Mistakes happen and I'm fine with it, as long as the company owns up to it and makes it right. And there were no similar issues with my second move in 2026. The guys had furniture wrap and blankets to protect my belongings. During both moves, I did not find anything that was damaged at all. What more can you ask for!? I highly recommend Man With a Van! In fact, I'm likely going to use them again soon to help with some items that I will need to move into storage.

The dispatcher Paul needs anger management lessons…read more My friend recently moved across town and ordered Man With A Van movers as they had good experiences with the company in the past. Man With A Van gave my friend two quotes: a cheaper quote for Two Guys with a Van and a more expensive quote for Three Guys with a Truck. My friend sent the more expensive rate for Three Guys with a Truck. But then this dispatcher tried the blame game of "You didn't specify Truck" when to our surprise only Two Guys and a Van showed up. Lemme ask you a question. If I offer you a hotdog for $3 and a burger for $4, and you hand me 4 dollars, wouldn't anyone with a working brainstem assume that meant YOU WANTED THE BURGER? But my friend was sweet and offered: "Maybe y'all can come back tomorrow with three guys and a truck, because it's really a three person job", to which the movers declined. After a quick call, the dispatcher said there'd be no additional charge for extra trips due to the smaller vehicle. What's more is that one of the two Movers had a bad back and couldn't take the stairs like the other dude. So at some points the job is only getting done by one dude (you could argue one-and-a-half dudes). If THREE guys should be able to make the move of loading and unloading in TWO hours, then HALF that much manpower means... you guessed it: it's gonna take at least twice as long! Not to mention they spent extra time stacking things like Jenga inside the van to make it all fit in one trip. Because the job (that my friend agreed to pay $500 for three guys and a truck) took so much longer with one and a half guys and a van, Paul upcharges an extra $300!! Again, my friend is nice, and they're trying to hash this out cause they didn't get what they paid for, regardless of it it took more time. (And again, of course less manpower means more time). But instead of having a conversation with my friend, Paul starts SCREAMING at them, cursing at them, saying "You're Full Of Sh*t!" and threatening legal action immediately! My friend is begging through tears that they want to make this right; begging him to STOP yelling and panicking them. The mover's felt so bad and embarrassed overhearing Paul act like a jack*ss on the phone that one even offered to pay the remainder, but my friend, still shook up and in tears, said that they wanted to make this right and moved what little money they have around to pay as much as they could. We're ALL struggling out here, and the movers def deserve to get paid. I'm sure the dude with the hurt back needs more money and easier hours, but the company is working him to the bone. But to have this dude Paul berate and coerce my friend, spitting venom over the phone? Shouting until my friend is begging in tears for him to stop? I'm never gonna forget that. And this company needs to make things right. The job took long because of Dispatch's mistakes. They sent 1.5 guys to do a 3 man job, without the agreed upon equipment no less. If you want a stress-free experience: steer clear. If you want some jerk from New York taking out his daddy issues on you: you've come to the right place.
