Slow, rude, nasty and totally awful. Carriers are loud on their personal phones, play favorites, rifle thru mail, misdeliver on purpose.

Awful place not just how this office operates but how they treat their employees. my roommate gets sent there all the time just to get screwed and hears complaints from their customers all the time how they sometimes get no packages, or mail sometimes. Theyre supervisors are no help with no support for their customers or employees. I feel bad for that whole town. Get your things together Pittsfield! read more

Absolute worst evening delivery there is. Normal carrier is great but the evening delivery is absurd. It's gotten so bad with undelivered or misdelivered packages I've had to speak with a postal inspector. She stated that Pittsfield has one of the highest percentages of misdelivered or undelivered packages in the entire postal system. I'd give them one star or zero stars but my daytime carrier is great. There's one or two evening carriers that leave my packages at random other houses, say my address doesn't exist etc are the ones screwing it up for everyone. Then when you try and go to the mothership in Pittsfield on Fenn street, you might as well be talking to a wall. Some of the least helpful people in civil service. The worst of the worst postal delivery carriers services ever in this pittsfield ma 01201 facility. Malfeasance runs rapid as Eric Yarter sup. of mail carriers degenerate extreme and incompetent postmaster curry lie and steal mail often. In particular a DMV title was stolen by mail carrier supervisor on May 11th 2020. Mail is daily censored, not delivered, and/or intentionally damaged. Disgusting carriers leaves tissues and rubber bands quite often in mail receptacles. Parking with motor running in fire zones, complete lack of professionalism, along with lazy mail carriers makes their 5-7 pm or whenever they feel like it deliveries repugnant. read more

THE NICEST PEOPLE WORK HERE. I have had the worst experience with the US Postal Service during my cross country move. 4 of my boxes arrived here in Pittsfield so damaged that I am missing hundreds of dollars worth of shoes, jewelry, makeup, and expensive toiletries. I even had other people's stuff inside of my boxes! I have been unable to receive any sort of reimbursement for weeks, until I went in to this post office and was immediately helped. I would like to especially thank Stephanie for her kind and empathetic nature. A true angel. As well as Nicole and Patrick for being SO on top of everything they do. This is a great group of people and they are willing to go above and beyond to make customers happy. read more

These guys ask for a review everytime except when they want to be rude at 8am in the morning . I have a package I was expecting today according to the tracking was scanned into pittsfield at 345 am . The clerk got a big attitude about me wanting to pick my package up rather then wait for the mail to arrive . I explained why I was there and he was instantly rude basically telling me he is not going to search thoroughly for my package due to the amount of packages in the back . Meanwhile , I'm waiting and the guy two stalls down is doing the same thing and his clerk had a smile seemed like he was much more friendly in terms of the kind of service he was providing . On top of that that post office worker found the package that customer was there to pick up unlike my post office worker who came back and quickly said he couldn't find the package . He quickly asked if I want to deal with a supervisor because he obviously didn't want to help me . The rudest experience Ive ever had here . I've dealth with this guy before too , he is usually pretty friendly . You guys should teach your employees to be more respectful of your patrons . I come to your post office all the time read more

The post office gets beat up all the time. But I want to say that I have had nothing but excellent service there. Aside from the holidays, they are often running with a small staff at the service counters. They are courteous and efficient in their work. I am grateful they are there and are so helpful.
