I would rate a zero if possible. The office doesn't even answer their phone line. Trying to resolve a problem with a wrong zip code and any moron mail carrier could have figured out the problem in 15 seconds with a smart phone. I have sent 2 packages that are serviced to this Post Office. Both tracking numbers say out for delivery and shipping is delayed. One is over a month old the other a week old. I tried calling the post office and no one answers. I've called every day for a week at different times of the day no answer. This place is completely useless. I have never written a review, but the way they are rude to all of customers is unacceptable. Our company have everyday almost a hundred of packages and they don't deliver for us with the reason, they don't have enough space and employees to load and deliver. They never pass by my business and update the status on the proof of delivery is "Business Close". When we came to talk with Ms. Manager, she denied to help us and said that "you are considered fraud to the Post Office". I requested she said that again for a recording and asked for her name and work ID for reference. She'd ignored and gone inside after the door said "employee only". How can the district let those type of person become a manager and manage the mails of the whole area. read more

Conflicting staff as usual. Shipping an envelope with a ring inside and was told I needed to pay for parcel by one and envelope by another staff member. After they talked it out and sent me through line eventually they decided I was correct and it was an envelope. Pretty sure the limit is 3/4" thickness which it was under. This is the delivery post office (Parkrose) for my mail forwarding service in 97230. The complaint I have now is that they scan packages as delivered in their own location and use crates, bins or sacks as "temporary location". This is a nightmare if they misplace a package into the wrong crate or sack for a different location. My missing package shows delivered but is somewhere but not at the destination addressed. The day the delivery scan happened the mail forwarding service was closed. The next business day when USPS delivered the crate the package was not in there. When I try to fill in a missing mail item USPS immediately closes the case because it shows delivered. Delivered into a crate at their own facility! Explaining that the delivery was in their own facility and on a day (24May) where the mail forwarder was closed did not help to leave the mail search open. Mistakes can happen when humans work but it is all about the way they try to assist and solve the problem. Currently I have been trying to reach someone at that post office but it is impossible. Phone is ringing, nobody ever answers. USPS support simply closes my missing mail search immediately because of that delivery scan from their own location before they even attempted to deliver. This should be prohibited. They make their customers pay for their own mistakes. I will update if I will ever get a hold of that Parkrose post office and someone willing to help search for my package. (see below) read more

My visit today at the post office was one of the best I've ever encountered. I had put in a change of address form and mailed it in. A few days later I received a letter from the post office stating that my request could not be made. I spent 45 min the next day on hold only for my call to get dropped. So today I had to go into the Park Rose post office. I was very pleased with the lady behind the counter. Veronica was fast, efficient, kind, and very helpful. Moved to new place a week ago...which was my boyfriends birthday weekend...I was expecting visiting boyfriend's bday card from his mom at our new place, I made big deal that he should go check our mail even though he nor I were expecting anything, (but I knew his mom had planned ahead), couldn't get it because key wouldn't work! I tried to pry it open, I tried to pick the lock, I (maybe unwisely) jammed my key into the box to prove it didn't work... Left note for mail carrier... No response for a week.....except today Glenn comes with my mail and key to my front door, he had tried THREE times on the birthday day to deliver the card to us at home, but we were out all day.....he tried again Monday, I wasn't home... So all this week he had been trying. I called Parkrose post office earlier this week...although the info I got from the guy who answered the phone wasn't entirely correct, I did appreciate he picked up phone within a couple rings, researched my problem, was courteous, and gave me a good lead about next steps. read more

Recently I ordered an item from my medical provider. I received notification that the package was delivered on June 29th. I never received the package. I have attempted to call the post office multiple time, and the phone just keeps ringing and then goes into a fast busy. On July 8th, I took a day off of work to go find out about my package. The supervisor that I spoke with said that the package was delivered to a different address on my block. When I came home, I went looking for that address. Guess what! The address doesn't exist. I tried calling back several times over the last couple of weeks and have been unable to get through until today. The person I spoke with then said, "well it has been a month, what do you expect us to do?" I told him that obviously there is nothing that can be done, and I will just call the main number to file a formal complaint. Why is this office still open and listed as a viable location? read more

NEVER trust the postal service at all. NOT even your regular Carrier. I'm missing a PKG, it put in a postal locker below the mailboxes and key in another tenants mailbox. This has been becoming an issue here, my mail C/C bills end up in another tenants mailbox, which are NOT the kind of people you want that mistake with. read more

Have been trying to mail something to an organization with a P.O. Box for weeks. A person at the organization assures me the address I have is correct, and it's the address on their webpage. The item keeps coming back saying "Not deliverable as addressed". Local post office says destination post office doesn't recognize the address. What's the problem??? I put a 'hold' notice on mail from April 5 through April 10th because I am out of town. I received an email confirmation of the hold. On April 7th I got an email from USPS saying a package had been left on my porch!! read more

I continue to go to this post office because I have a PO Box, It is beyond me how this place is ran. It has been well over 6 months and the handicap door has been blocked with a cone rather than fix what ever is wrong with it !! This is my least favorite post office out of the 4 states I have regularly lived in. I HATE coming here. The messed up on a money order, SLOW, usually only 1 employee. I went there so many times for a simple change of address and they NEVER had the papers!! Are you kidding?? So at the time I'm writing this, I'm in their parking lot because for some reason they are STILL not open, even though it's almost 9, the website says they open at 8:30, and the sign on the door says they open at 7. The building is full of people waiting for them to open. It blows my mind that a business can be this unprofessional. read more

This is the worst, lived in the same condo for 5 years and they can't even manage to deliver a package correctly . We live in a condo and the mail man for some reason does not know that condos are individually numbered so their is not apartment numbers as their not apartments.... We have even place These are condos individually and numbered and still he cant figure it out..I have to say this station has the rudest people working there, and the station manager is never their never available..Even the Rep with Amazon said their partnership with the Post Office is a failure, lets scrap the USPS if Parkrose is the norm... read more
