The staff is consistently unfriendly, and one particular woman who works there regularly speaks to customers with a noticeable attitude. On my most recent visit, I came to drop off a package that didn't have a QR code. I asked if they could print the label for me--they said no, so I went to the library, printed it out, and came back. When I returned with the label and my package, I asked if they could tape it on for me since I didn't have any tape. The man at the counter refused, even though there was a roll of packing tape sitting right next to him. It was a small label on a lightweight package--it would've taken two seconds, max. That moment left me feeling so defeated that I ended up crying in my car. I've never felt so frustrated over something so minor. As for value, this place offers very little. The time, effort, and emotional toll of dealing with unhelpful service here simply aren't worth it--especially when there are friendlier options elsewhere. I highly recommend going to a different location if you have the choice. Customers deserve basic kindness and support, especially at a public service facility like this.

SO after being in our new location for 5 weeks our mailman came and asked us if we had ordered the key yet. And since we hadn't, he said we could pick up our mail at the post office until then. So off I went and whoa what a line!! But then a savior emerged and asked if anyone was there to pick up mail or packages. Yes yes yes I am sir!! So I let him know our situation and he took care of getting me the mail. This post office is about 5 minutes from our office so it was super easy to get there and back. I was also impressed at how friendly he was and how good the service was at a post office. Ten out of ten.

I went to the post office Saturday May 30th 2026 to pick up my mail it was a Saturday about 4:30…read morep.m. and there was no customers in the lobby where the PO boxes are and the post office actually was closed otherwise I encountered a person a transgender woman who had strally red hair and dressed like a prostitute loitering in the in the room I said something to her and she became enraged and presented to me a ice pick but she had concealed she was very argumentative and acted crazy and cornered me in the room and was yelling and screaming obscenities and finally she backed off and told me to go to hell so I got my stuff my my mail and left I did tell somebody outside what happened I didn't see anybody go in there I called the police nobody went to do anything really actually took 2 hours to finally talk to the police officer and they didn't follow up they didn't do anything either and this is the letter I got from the post office when I complained about it. I asked if they had cameras and they told me they did not that's a government building and they don't have camera so be aware when you go into Creston station on Foster road in Portland Oregon on off times when there's no employees visible they don't have camera so anybody could rob you in that place and nobody will know. They have extended hours, staying open until 6:30 in weekenights, rather than the typical 5mor 5:30pm. My only complaint is the 2nd door to enter is soooo heavy and a challenge to push open for those of us with strength and shoulder issues. They should have a handicapped button to enable easy access for those in a wheelchair, and people like me with chronic shoulder issues. There is a ramp out front for those unable to climb the set of 5 steps.

She seems to serve no purpose to the function of the establishment, as she literally just sits there. The first time I came across her, she made judgmental comments about my toddler being in his stroller & getting antsy waiting in line. The second time, I asked if I could just leave my package on the counter since it's pre-paid, & she responded to me like I was stupid & like my question was completely I convenient for her. When I recently went to send in my passport renewal, the woman at the desk was able to save me money by using a flat rate envelope over the legal mailer I brought in. She also made sure I had all the materials and everything was signed. I've been nervous about the whole renewal process and she helped give me a bit more confidence that I at least provided everything I needed.
