This is the second time this post office has lost a package! The first time I called , I told the man that a package is lost. Online shows my package was in the facility on Riverside for a month! The man said "It's not lost, it's in our facility! So I said, "but I don't have it!" He got very snippy with me but said they would put a trace on it. I still didn't get it, so I wrote off the package. A month later, It shows up! Now, my Christmas gift is lost at the same place---the Riverside Post Office! I have not had any problems with the people behind the counter. They have always been helpful and I haven't had long to wait in line. read more

Useless. Not really working. Just messing around. It is been that way for a long time. No improvement whatsoever.

3 different times my carrier did not deliver a small package and did not leave me notice. Went this morning to pick up a package I discovered was at the PO. Gave him the tracking #. He got a package for me. When I got home and opened it, it was NOT the items ordered. Post Office gave me a different package that they were also holding. It had a totally different # on it. Now they won't pick up their office phone so I have to drive back to get another package!!! Annoying!!! There doesn't seem to be anyone to report it to so I'm venting here. read more

Most personnel are nice but the old guy is a jerk. God forbid you should ask him to explain something. He shouldn't be working the counter since he clearly seems annoyed to be there. read more

The old man in there is very rude. Not just to me, but to all of the customers he helped before me as well.

The counter people move like they are in a olds home facility. I watched "both" a female and male postal employee spend 5 MINUTES organizing stamp books while customers were looking at each other in amazement waiting on line. It was SHOCKING how they disregarded the line as if we weren't even there. If this was a private business these "LAZY" people would be fired. Because they are government employees they simply don't care about performing customer service with pride. Unbelievable is all I have to say. This post office should be ashamed of themselves (but it's apparent they don't care and won't). Avoid at all cost unless there's no choice. Crazy. read more

Sent a package to my son's address with things I needed to have for a stay with him in SLC after I was having surgery. I didn't want to pack them for my flight so I figured mailing would be easier. Sent on 11/29 and my son received a notice on 12/7 that they attempted to deliver but there were no parcel boxes left at his apartment complex to leave it and he would have to pick up at the local post office. He didn't get his mail until after I had already had surgery and flown home. I went to my local post office on 12/15 to see if they could have it sent back to me in St George. The older gentleman at the desk was rude when I was trying to explain what happened and told me "I don't need to hear all of your personal information". I then asked him if he could have the package sent back to me in St George and he said I needed to call the post office in SLC and ask them or have my son go and pick up the package and send it back to me for another $12.50. I then asked him if he could give me the number to that post office and he said "just Google it". Needless to say, the only number you get is automated and you can't talk to a live person. The recording did say the package would be returned to sender on 12/22. Very bad customer service by this gentleman and I have seen him treat other people rudely while waiting in line. I will not be returning to this post office on Riverside Dr ever again and will instead use the downtown St George Post Office. That guy needs to learn some customer care etiquette or he needs to retire if he hates his job so much! read more

The scan prepaid label function does not work on their machine and the lobby. I shipped two packages on Monday, April 22nd at 502pm and they have not moved in 48 hours. I was concerned about placing them in the bin without a receipt, and my concern is validated. I wonder where my packages are? Additionally, Our neighborhood mailboxes have been left unlocked on at least 4 occasions. Finally, Is a mail hold that ended with delivery resumed is missing packages that should have been delivered. Average service. Personnel are helpful and try to help the public The facilities are good and convenient.

I had to come here to get a passport. I looked up all the documents I needed online so I would be prepared ahead of time. When I showed up, I saw the door with the Passport sign above it said that they were done by appointment only. I was a bit frustrated. I didn't see anywhere online where it needed to be set up beforehand. It's quite a hassle getting a babysitter to watch my kids when I leave the house so I was really frustrated I missed this detail. The next time I came in, a family also arrived and then noticed the sign and left (so I know it wasn't just me getting confused). I set up an appointment and came in 10 minutes beforehand like I was told. My appointment time came and went. After 30 minutes of waiting they were finally ready for me. Again, quite frustrating since I am paying someone to watch my kids. I understand this is a federal facility, so they can do whatever they want haha. Still doesn't mean it's not frustrating. You can only pay for a passport with a debit card, cash, or a check. I wish I would have known this beforehand as well! Besides all the frustrating parts of this, the employees were quite kind and nice and I really appreciated that! read more

This is the best post office I have ever visited. I usually go here 1-2 times a week to drop off/pick up the mails/packages. Never have any problems but surprisingly have a great experience every time. They surely have outstanding service consistently, and that is the reason why I'm coming back to this location all the time. I've been to a lot of other post offices so I can honestly say that this one is the best. Wonderful customer service, friendly, fast, informative and definitely super helpful. It's always clean and well organized here. They do deserve 5 stars rating!!! read more

Went to the St. George post office on Riverside Drive and was in line waiting for my turn. The lady asked me if I was mailing a package and that it's 5:00pm and they are closing up for the day. I politely said yes and I made a comment and said wow you close the doors right at 5:00pm and not a minute later. She stated yes we do because we've been here all day and then had the audacity in a very rude tone to ask me if I had a job and if I worked long hours.I stated yes I did and then wanted to know how many hours I worked in a day. I ignored her comment and after I thought if she only knew how many hours a surgeon works. Very rude and appalled by her response read more

Lazy mailman. Couldn't even be bothered to deliver a package to a front door when he couldn't make it fit in the mailbox. I'm waiting on my new prescription contacts wake up this morning just to find out he took them back to office to deliver them the next day. read more
