I said, the box should be open till five and I need to mail this package, to which he replied, go to the other post office. I knocked several more times, and he just ignored me. This person should not be working here. The least he could've done was to open the door and take my packages--if he didn't want to unlock the box that he closed early. This is the person working the afternoon shift on Monday, December 11.

He watched me waiting for Security knowing he had lied about calling them. Insulted me some more. He has exhibited the most discourteous, disgraceful behavior I ever experienced at a Post Office. If he ever gives you trouble report him to Andre the manager at the Main Post Office and he will handle the issue. I also reported him to the USPS Consumer and Industry Contact Office. He definitely should not be allowed to interact with the public and I will do my best to make this happen.

However my experience today was wonderful. The service was quick and friendly. The postal worker greeted me as I walked in and was cheerful as he assisted all of us in line. This post office is the best one I've been to in New Mexico!…read more Service is super friendly and efficient, so basically you feel like you're anywhere but a post office! It's usually the same gentleman behind the counter, and he answers questions with patience and a smile. The building is very small so there may be a few services this location doesn't do but so far everything we've needed (including sending registered mail) has been a breeze, and they do have P.O. Boxes. The building is actually on 4th Street so its easy access and parking is along the North side, as well as in the lot behind. Note they're closed for lunch from 11:30-12.
