Alright, so I usually head to this post office when I'm at work and need to mail a package or send…read moresomething certified mail. It's not far from my office and it's WAY easier to get in and out of than the Brockton PO. I went the other day to mail a textbook I sold online. I threw the thing in a box with some padding and couldn't find an inch of packing tape at my office so I went to the PO with an unsealed packaged. I figured I could charm a postal worker into taping the thing up for me and saving me the $3 or so it would cost to buy a roll of packing tape. Success! Me: (batting eye lashes and trying to appear as needy as possible) "do you have any tape to seal my package?" Friendly postman: "I suppose I can do that for you". Awesome. They were selling the stuff in there so I thought he might say "turn around and buy a roll" to which I was going to play dumb as though I didn't walk right past it. Moving right along but backing up, this post office is the size of shoe box... which is what makes it great because it's a small town PO but there were 2 patrons in there, myself and one other person. There was another postal worker behind the desk just milling about while I waited for a good 5 mins or so... we even made eye contact several times. Ordinarily I would have though "oh well" but I was on my lunch break and the clock was ticking. It'll still be my go-to PO because when all is said and done, it is still much faster than Brockton but come on, not everyone is on small-town time!

My absolute favorite post office in mass! I am consistently impressed with the knowledgeable &…read morefriendly staff. I am always greeted by name and never wait long (even at peak times). It's hands down the best around!! Mike, Tony & John are the best!! John even prints out answers to questions to have ready for your next visit! So awesome!!

Here's the thing about old documents, like maybe some of you out there, I still had a lot left going back some 16 to 17 years. Now like a lot of people out there I have a shredder. Let's be honest though, how many of us (10 pages at a time) will actually shred such a big amount in a relatively short time? Raise your hand. (Pause). Yeah me neither. This is where neighborhood parcel comes into the picture. They are quick and efficient. If you take the drive up there my advice is to look for parking space 999( no not even making this up) as that is right in front of the building. They remembered me from a few years ago (hey I had a ton of old papers then). They are friendly as well and weigh each loose bag by the pound. Ironically I filled out and had them mail out the notarized certificate of document destruction. They will also email it to you only if you prefer. I can't tell you how much time they saved me (as I am getting to that stage in life of weighing time vs. money vs. the fact I won't do it all myself in this case). The relief of knowing that these old documents I was never going to look at again were all gone is priceless. If you've got a whole lot of documents you have been "meaning to get to" bring them here.

Whether it has been an emergency pick up at 6:30 in the morning or an impossible delivery to downtown Boston at 10:30 at night, they have always been there for me to bail me out, and do so with efficiency, professionalism and understanding of my crises. Jenn and Jackie and the staff at Deadline are rockstars, they know their business like nobody else I have dealt with, and because of the great people there, there is no other company that I trust with my deliveries. They are up front and accurate about where their drivers are and when they'll be arriving, and have the experience to suggest different methods of shipment in order to save me money and aggravation. Running a printing business is inherently crazy...Deadline Delivery keeps me sane and smiling!

The second and third weeks spiraled into disaster. They were unable to meet their deadline for the post office which resulted in our time-sensitive mailing not being sent. Instead of apologizing and owning up to the mistake, our rep offered to fix the problem but warned that we would be billed for extra time (and she never came up with a viable solution!) We ended up having to load our cars up and take the mailing ourselves. The kicker? They called demanding payment for the service that wasn't complete! They lack professionalism and punctuality. Go elsewhere.
