I was given a number and took a seat to wait my turn. I waited less than 10 minutes before my number was called. The lady at the window was very nice, even when one of the papers I needed to register the vehicle was not in the envelope sent from the dealership. Instead of telling me to get it and come back, which is what I expected, she took it upon herself to go call the dealership and talk to someone and have them fax her what she needed. Since I had expressed an interest in wanting a personalized tag, she gave me the binder with all the specialty tags to look at and decide on one while I waited for the missing paper to be faxed over. Unfortunately, the dealership was very busy and couldn't get to it before I had to leave to pick up my kids from school, so I got my papers back and told her I'd come back on my next off day, which was today. Today, my wait time was again under 10 minutes. The gentleman at the window was very nice and got me taken care of quickly. He got me all set up with my personalized tag, and gave me a temporary tag to use in the meantime until the metal tag came in the mail. Overall, excellent experience both days. Not sure why people dread the DMV. I don't mind it a bit.

Rob directed me to a local shop that sells postcards (Ship and Shore) and he even stepped out as I left to make sure I knew that he closed for lunch in 15 minutes. I got my postcards, made it back in time, and Rob hooked me up with postcard stamps. I love the friendliness of the South, and this Alabama post office is what post offices were probably like 100 years ago.

So i went to the post office to pi k up the packabut the carrier was still on their routes. I insisted that i can meet them to get it because I wanted to get started on my vehicle,( i hate depending on others), but by their policy they couldn't allow that for safety reasons. The manager took it upon himself to get and his car and go get the package for me and they wouldn't allow me to tip them. One of the most generous things to happen to me in a while. Employees at this…read moreoffice did not "scan in" a high dollar package sent to me. the tracking displayed an alert status. tracking showed item was delivered to pascagoula usps, 5 days later it was still unscanned, with no location updates. i called them to locate the pckg. she told me it wasnt there. i gave them time and called back. i was patient, and asked some questions about the process at their location, so that i could understand what might have happened. she did not answer my questions. Amy Brown, i will be filing a complaint with the usps, providing them with the recordings i have of all our phone calls, your unprofessional way of communicating, and the part where you admitted that your office failed to scan hundreds of packages before being sent out for delivery. it left customers who rely on the tracking system, more so during this pandemic, without the reasonable expectation that they will receive the goods they necessarily purchase by mail.

I walked in mid-morning, around 9:30am and was done in less than 30 minutes. There were at most, 4 people in the waiting room and 2 of them were already being served. Dionne was incredible! She was so polite, friendly and funny. By the time I left, I felt like I'd been chatting it up with an old friend. I almost didn't want to post a review because I want to keep this jewel to myself so that it never gets crowded but my experience was just too great not to share.
