It's a very small post office and for the most part it gets the job done. Yes, you will have to…read morewait in lines, but if you aren't busy, you can easily time it for a slow part of the day. Employees are what they are, tired and underpaid and it reflects with their patience at time. My biggest issue is the package drop off. Recently it hasn't been showing the received scans at the Fairfield facility, which makes it hard to track sometimes. There have been occasions where there are no scans until it reaches the destination sort facility. So whether it's a system glitch or something else it needs to be fixed for those that are mailing packages for customers.

I get a call from a supervisor or manager or something from this post office. They say "Hey we are really sorry. Just come down and knock on the door in the PO box office room. Someone will answer and make sure you get your package even if it's after hours up till 8:30pm. I have to schedule the pick up for after they are closed on a Monday when originally then package was supposed to be delivered on a Friday because the holiday weekend and my work schedule. I drive all the way down here on Monday, after work like I told them I would and they said would be fine. I knocked, I rang the bell, knocked again and again and again. I can hear people in back ignoring me. The fact that the supervisor told me to come down here after hours and now they are not helping me. He also said just call this number if they don't answer when he called me.... It was an unknown number that I can't call back. Now I am pissed again. Over the same package that I still do not have!

She assured me that a signature would be required for the delivery but it wasn't. I received an email stating the package was "handed to someone" at the delivery address. This could have created a problem but luckily it didn't. Even though Jen was helpful I feel she deceived me on how the package was mailed. I kept asking if it should go Certified (for the signature) or if she needed to stamp it. She told me no, and pointed to the pre-printed words "Signature Required" on the Priority Mail package. Thankfully it turned out ok.

I went in for notary and had the most racist encounter with the notary working there. She keeps on…read moreasking the staff on how to fill the form. She stop each time she pick up a pen to write something. It took over 30 minutes for her to sign a piece of paper and stamp it and does it wrong. Then continue to act like she knows what she doing. We decide to walk away because she wants to over charge us after the whole encounter. We went here for years and had great experience with previous crew. This new crew is horrible. The sad part is when we went to the notary across the street from them, the owner told us a lot of people come to him for notary because of the horrible treatment they encounter at this place. It validates that we are not the first that got mistreated and won't be the last. Glad to say we will never go there ever again.

They had a poor explanation on how this happened and tried to blame me for changing. If I did change why didn't I have keys to a new box they gave me . I was paid up how can they give it away while it was paid up which I had documentation for. This was a nightmare.
