This is actually the 2nd time he's opened a box I was shipping with an authorized return to Amazon. I'm 73 yrs old and this is very frustrating, confusing, and today, a little upsetting. Well, as it turned out, that UPS airplane that crashed in Kentucky diverted my oysters to another location and they were not delivered until the following day. At that point the ice packs had melted and the oysters were no longer cold. Rather than feed my brother bad oysters and add to his misery, his wife decided it was best to throw them out. So here I am out $411.00 dollars and UPS says that since it was an emergency I am not entitled to a refund. The UPS store franchise owner offered me a check for $284.48 which doesn't even cover the cost of the shipping, let alone the $100.00 in wasted oysters. I am extremely dissatisfied with the treatment I have received from UPS. As it turns out, I could have shipped the same package via Fed Ex for only $233.00 and without an additional $50.00 fuel surcharge. UPS's motto should be "What can brown do TO you" #Up yours UPS !

(Tho, sadly, they did not have a Spires, which is the one I am still looking for.) We were able to try several pedals. My partner has been seriously looking for a looping pedal for as long as I've known her, so we saw that they had a few, and they were gracious enough to set them up for us to try (even the Electro-Harmonix one that they said was not very intuitive (Guess which one we ended up with.) They were VERY friendly, but at the same time did not hover over us. They let us spend about an hour playing with different pedals, talked about the shop, and guitars, and loopers, several customers came in and out, and all three of the guys behind the counter worked on some repairs. (They are a very repair centric shop.) The layout is a bit tight, but it's cozy. They have comfy seating, and really nice displays. It feels crowded, and it is, but it's in that... Clean and homey sort of way. They don't have a HUGE selection... It is not going to be an experience like guitar center. But it's going to give you that caring and dedicated local shop experience. And that's so much better. The prices were GOOD. (The looper ended up being cheaper than Amazon.) He even gave us each a EarthQuaker Devices sticker. (Before we even bought anything.) These guys are an Earthquaker licensed shop, too, so if you're looking for those pedals, this is a place to go.

I'd like to see some new equipment, and have some of the existing equipment repaired or replaced. But, there's really good bones, here. Having opted for a family membership with my partner, we've brought my spawn here several times. The kids space is pretty well set up. It would be nice if it were staffed a little more. I'd actually say that's one of the things the space lacks, is clear staffing. Everyone I've met so far has been friendly, and helpful. Very nice. The location is really central. Parking is the only real pain, weekends are pretty convenient. Lots of nearby food and beverage. Nibble moved in right next door. It's a great space.
