Only one employee handling passport applications and pictures (she was great, though) and zero signage on where to go for passports, even though only one employee is handling them. When I got there I waited only about 10 minutes, but while I was waiting about 15-20 people got behind me in line without any movement made. I hope this post office gets more staff members and is able to upgrade their signage at some point soon. They don't make passport appointments intuitive for dummies like me! Side note: Apple Maps takes you to the employee only parking lot instead of the general parking lot, not sure why that is.

Although the customer service in the office is very slim, they are helpful at least. This seems to be an ongoing driver issue. Her personality was such that she was very empathetic to my disability & truly treated me compassionately. She asked if I needed stamps, I said no thanks. She offered different rates & I decided on the delivery date of Monday, Yay; it would not take a week to get to my BFF in AZ! I highly recommend this USPS!

It doesn't look like much from the outside but these guys have it far more together than other area post offices. The parking situation is pretty dire on busy days - it's a small lot on the side of the building or residential street parking. Don't even bother trying to come on a Proctor Farmer's Market day. Otherwise, it's not too bad. Inside, it's clear that this post office hasn't seen any real work (and maybe cleaning) since the 70s sometime. That's okay, at least it doesn't smell of cigarette smoke like other post offices I can think of. The space is small and a little cramped but flows well for such a small space. There are four windows for retail transactions and they usually have three of them going. The employees have some of the standard surliness of postal employees but a few have a sense of humor - what a nice thing to run into, actual human postal workers! Things I ship from this post office go just as quickly as they do from Pine Street, A Street, or any of the other local post offices. Funny thing, though, they seem to arrive at their destinations in better shape. Don't all flood the post office at once, now, I have all of these packages to mail.

If you're lucky enough, and they find your package in the back, you will likely continue to receive notifications from UPS that your package is waiting for you because half the time they will forget to ask you to sign for your package and it will appear that you've never picked it up. As I write this, I just received three messages in the last 24 hours reminding me to pick up a package (that I already have) or they're sending it back. The rest of the time, you'll receive a notification that your package is ready for pickup, which it truly is, but they will claim it's not there or that they know nothing about it. Doesn't matter that it has a UPS tracking number, they will not check that. You will have to return another day and insist that your package tracking says it's arrived and...oh my goodness! Indeed it REALLY is there and was actually there all along! I only send to here from Amazon if the package cannot be sent to the Amazon locker. However, in the last year, I've had issues with this location at least 6-8 times and that is over half the total times I've had parcels delivered there. I am not bothered by employees making mistakes but this repetitive issue is not "mistakes", this is unprofessional. I would like to use this location because it's conveniently located, but I at this rate, it's becoming not worth it.
