Not very convenient but the staff was helpful and I got it done. Plenty of parking. No sliding doors and hard to go in with a walker or wheelchair. It's also narrow in the main lobby area and the waiting island is also thick so i I recommend walking without one or using the kiosk. I give 5 stars because of service but I would give 4 stars for the accessibility and availability issues.

STOLEN PACKAGE. THIS IS A CRIMINAL POST OFFICE WITH CRIMINAL DRIVERS. A package sent with signature…read moreconfirmation and insurance from Langley WA and marked as RECEIVED by Burlington NC P.O. 2 weeks ago has never made it to the recipient!!! A personal visit to the P.O. by the recipient was met with stonewalling. No explanation given. 10 days passed. Package has not been found. By their own data it had reached their office successfully, but not the recipient. The sender asked their local P.O. staff, with whom many packages have been sent, if they had heard of such a thing? They were skeptical and said it was NOT normal, they guessed the package had perhaps fallen down the side of the driver's seat? And to submit a missing package report and to phone the Burlington P.O. Report was submitted. Calls were made from sender, during which they said they didn't know where package was, promises were made by Burlington P.O. for a call back which never came. Today, Monday September 29 several calls from sender only received a busy signal. The package was lost or stolen by Burlington P.O., or their staff driver, and they are reluctant to admit it. Sender is now filing an insurance claim. The Post Office should either admit they lost it and initiate a lost ticket which would enable the sender to claim insurance, or they should deliver the package to recipient. Very poor service, possibly criminal. Other reviews on Chamber of Commerce attest to the same behavior over the years. This should be reported. Sender BEWARE!!!

The office is bustling, but the professionals working there work efficiently and with kind demeanors. Although there was a wait due to the steady flow of customers, I was glad to wait in such an orderly fashion. The lone Postal Worker, Monica, handled herself like a seasoned pro and got customers through swiftly. When a co-worker joined her, things went even more smoothly, and I got back in line to ask another question to save myself the time and frustration of agonizing through Google search for the answer. I'm glad I did. Monica answered my question and gave me the materials I could use to prepare for my next trip to the USPS and make things even more effortless AND less costly. I've always been a fan of the Postal Workers Union. Like many of our "blue-collar" workers, I feel that postal workers are undervalued and underpaid. They provide invaluable services, usually with a smile. I am most GRATEFUL for my local postal work and for this post office.

I had an extremely unacceptable experience at this USPS location while trying to verify my identity…read morefor a Change of Address request. After being instructed through the USPS online system to verify in person, I followed every step exactly as directed. I brought my barcode, a valid primary ID, and a voter registration card, which is clearly listed by USPS as an acceptable form of secondary ID. From the moment I walked in, the clerk was rude and dismissive. She barely made eye contact, gave me clipped commands like "I need your ID" and "I need the barcode," and made no effort to assist or engage. I had to awkwardly reach across the counter while she sat still. She complained about glare on her screen and then delayed the process by questioning my voter registration card. First she claimed it was expired, then she said "we do not do those up north." She called over a coworker who clearly did not even know what kind of document was being discussed and confused voter registration with vehicle registration. Both employees showed a clear lack of understanding of USPS policy. When I offered to provide a utility bill instead, which is also an acceptable form of secondary ID per USPS, she told me "we do not do those" either. At that point it was clear she was just making excuses rather than following actual USPS guidelines. After stalling and checking with someone in the back, she finally scanned the barcode and completed the process. But even then, she did not confirm anything or give me a receipt. When I asked if it was done, she brushed me off by saying "they probs just gonna send you sum in the mail," giving me no clear confirmation at all. Only after I asked again did she finally acknowledge the process had been completed. This was a simple, routine service that should have taken five minutes. Instead, I was treated with indifference, hit with misinformation, and left unsure if anything had even been processed until I pushed for confirmation. I followed every instruction from USPS to the letter and was still nearly turned away because your staff do not understand your own policies. This kind of experience is unacceptable from any public-facing service, let alone a federal agency responsible for mail and identity verification.
