But I did notice the buildup and the smell I could not get to go away no matter how much I cleaned the washing machine. We have a bunch of dogs and obviously the pet hair adds more to the issue. So I definitely think I'll be doing the service once a year because I noticed a huge difference in how my machine machines are working now and the odor is completely gone. Are stacked washer and dryer to be serviced and professionally cleaned was $450, they did give us a $50 discount, which is nice. Not a lot of places offer the service and they did a great job.

When I was looking on Yelp originally I was looking at recommended companies based on my search for appliance repair while creating a project. The Valencia company profile is the one that I saw. The reviews were excellent. And the company was the nicest of the other three that I reached out to. They were very upfront with there is a $65 fee just to come out and take a look. The gentleman who arrived was extremely nice, very personable. But that can also work against you as a customer. I was in the middle of work. And at the same time, my sons were all coming home. So I'm a busy mom. I don't have time to babysit when I have an expert come out to repair something in my home. And I also don't have time to have to side eye someone and make sure they're not taking advantage of me. And low-key throughout this entire visit I felt that. When he walks in my home how nice my home is and notably cool it was inside compared to the scorch of summer outside. Appreciated but that convo rolled into mention of my AC bill being expensive/high. Of course it is. That's a second assessment (to me) of what price range he's looking to put me in. From the gate, he went on to tell me how I have the BMW of dryers. That off the rip let me know that I'd already been assessed. My thought, how is this the BMW of dryers when it's as old as a 2006 per the receipt. I didn't want to even tell this gentleman that I have a whole business surrounding appliance installation and delivery.. I kept it to myself. He talks so fast and with a heavy accent when it comes to explaining to me what's wrong with the dryer. But when it came down to him explaining to me thoroughly and clearly what was wrong with my dryer, I was left uncertain of what was wrong (it wasn't clear) and anxious. He took the dryer apart. The dryer did not have a power issue at all. But I saw him take a small fuse to start my dryer up (or check a current). The dryer didn't have a problem with the drum. My dryer's issue was that it was no longer producing heat. The gentleman points to an area of the dryer (once it's opened) and told me that it was broken. And that he was gonna charge me I believe the original price may have been 500 something. He came down from that to 450. I immediately felt ripped off. Then he goes into telling me how I need to keep my lint trap clean. Mind you. I'm a person who grew up with a very strict parent who would punish me if I did not have that lint trap cleaned. So my traumas ensure that that lint trap does not get crazy and it was not crazy when he came. We were in disbelief that the dryer wasn't drying so we just kept running it over and over again so the little bit of lint that was in the trap had zero to do with why the dryer was not drying. Again, another point I did not feel it necessary to have to explain at that point ( to me ) he was just trying to find reason to pile up more fees. Now here I am looking at my receipt. He charged me $50 for a cleaning charge?!! I did not ask him to clean a doggon thing! His service fee alone was $350!! The part, he charged me $50, which I'm also gonna post a picture of how much the part cost in fairness. The part OEM is no more than $70. $70 plus the $65 fee to come out plus a service fee and tax would have been acceptable. Not $450 and he didn't even leave the broken part. Definitely do your research prior to. And be sure you're paying attention when the service team is there otherwise you will get GOT.

David answered my call, personally, at 8pm on a Saturday night. He was in our home Sunday morning. The problem was quickly diagnosed (fan that cools the compressor wasn't going on). He set up a fan that I had in the garage to blow on the compressor and got the refrigerator up and running temporarily. He said that, depending on parts, the repair would be done Monday or Tuesday. Part not in stock, so repair scheduled for Tuesday. David showed up on the front end of his repair window, replaced the fan, cleaned the condenser and verified everything was working. Repair cost was very reasonable, especially compared to replacing a $2500 refrigerator. Not only was he on time, communicated well at every step and solved the issue, he liked our dog, too. We were referred to Big Al's and reached out via text. He quickly responded and schedule a time the next day to come due a diagnostic. He showed up on time, was super friendly, walked me through the potential issues. He first checked the drain filter to make sure that wasn't the issue. He cleaned that and then tested the washer again. He determined that the drain pump was bad as you could hear it humming and not actually pumping. He had the correct pump in his truck for my model of washer and was able to repair it on the spot. Before he started the repair he told me exactly how much it would cost, including parts & labor. He even looked up how much a new replacement washer (same make and model) is going for so I could make an informed decision about repairing or buying a new one.
