He communicates well with tenants on any issues that may affect us. He fixes issues quickly and has made a number of improvements. This is a well run place if you need an office or large secure yard for equipment. Location is really ideal. Easy on/off the 101 freeway.

I did not pay for an insulated unit and it clearly shows with a lot of debris in my unit. The owner was really nice to me when convincing me to rent the space, but very rude and annoyed with almost every other encounter. I understand it's frustrating running a business, but it only takes a small amount of effort to try to be kind. All other employees have been very nice and patient. I currently live far away from this address. In return, I am late in rent almost every month because they inconveniently only accept cash or checks... which in 2023, is kind of out of date and vindictive. So I bite the bullet and drive an hour to pay them more, and more, and more. I remember reading reviews for this storage unit. A lot of complaints about rent being raised. I've talked to other locals who have rented here and they complained about rent being raised. I didn't want to believe that it was true... but it is. They will probably raise my rent for writing this.

beware!!!! dont rent…read morea storage space here unless you want to risk all of your valuables being stolen. shout out the "manager" lamont. i moved from a unit where my stuff sat safely for 2 years, into a bigger unit for cheaper (shouldve known) down a hallway without a camera, and 4 ways in/out. hmmm. within about a month, my lock was picked, whole unit torn apart, and all of my most valuable possessions stolen. ironically there are no cameras that show that unit, and if someone had access to other units they could move my stuff into a different unit in the same hallway, without any trace. and then sell the items later. this could only be accomplished by the manager or an acquaintance of his. my lock was picked, unit rifled through and the lock was picked again to re-lock it. only someone with time on their hands would be capable. draw your own conclusion there. i was paid out a tiny insurance payment that covered about 25% of the value of my stolen items. do not rent a unit here!!! i would give negative stars if i could. i paid thousands of dollars for over 2 years only to be robbed.

The facility was consistently maintained and rent increases were reasonable. Since the transition to US Storage Centers, my experience has changed significantly. First, it's now very difficult to reach anyone locally. When you call the number for the facility it routes to a corporate call center rather than someone in the office, which makes it hard to get clear answers about what's happening on site. Second, the overall upkeep of the property appears to have declined. On multiple visits I've seen the bathrooms in rough condition with trash on the floor and the sink and toilet visibly dirty. That alone was disappointing compared to how the facility used to be maintained. My biggest concern, however, is what I've repeatedly seen inside the building near my unit. When walking up the indoor staircase and through the hallway, I've noticed rat and mouse droppings on the stairs, landings, and floor. The first time I saw this I assumed it would be cleaned up quickly. But on later visits months apart, I saw what looked like the same droppings still in the same areas. People are leaving reviews online that their units have become infested and belongings destroyed. I truly don't believe the company is stepping up in a big way to address this infestation at the facility, or else I would see the hallways clean, and the bad reviews would cease. In the 9 years under the previous management I never once saw anything like this. Seeing it repeatedly now is extremely concerning when you're storing personal belongings in the building. I've called the company several times asking what is being done to address cleanliness and pest issues at the facility. Each time I was told someone from management would follow up, but so far I have not received a call back. After more than a decade here, it's frustrating to see the condition of the facility decline like this. A storage company's basic responsibility is to provide a clean and well-maintained environment for customers' belongings. Based on what I've personally observed recently, that standard isn't being met. This facility used to be well run, and it's disappointing to see it in this condition after the change in management. If the issues continue, I will unfortunately have to move my belongings after more than 10 years here. Now-I expect a boiler plate, phony response, asking me to contact them. NO, I will not. Actions speak louder than words. Get to work!
