Here are some highlights of my experience: Eli is very knowledgable and is able to explain everything easily so that people like me who feel like taxes are a foreign language can understand. I came in assuming I was going to owe so much bc I had no idea what I was doing or how taxes even worked.. but Eli answered all of my questions with patience even though I know I was probably asking the same question over & over lol. Now for 2019 I will not be stressed! Eli also shed some light on things I had no idea about like how putting money in an IRA can really help to save on how much I owe in taxes, and how I need to go ahead & pay estimated taxes twice a year, and other business related matters that as business owner i needed to know & did NOT beforehand. Before your appointment they give you this great "tax planner".. it pretty much lists out everything that you can & should be writing off on your taxes & allows you to put in the totals. The main guy who files the tax is pretty informative and takes the times to answer all your questions in a very polite way. He also makes some good recommendations. The pricing often is variable and be ready to bargain for a lesser fee. They expect an appointment and often involves a wait. FYI, the entrance to their office is at the back of the building at the corner of Sip and Garrison avenue. First and fore most you need to make appointments a few days in advance with their office. Next, on the day they entertain everyone with appointments on that day alike and treat it first-cum-first-serve basis. Especially, in the months of April, I have observed and heard from others that waits go crazy ... almost 3+ hours depending on the time of day you enter their office. There is a guy who fills up all the data into their tax filing software and then finally Saleem comes and verifies everything before filing the tax. They are certified to e-file taxes and that makes the process pretty simple. All the refunds get transferred to your account by Direct Deposit. These guys recently moved to a bigger facility, there is ample seating, restrooms and also a TV which gives some respite during the waits. If you are visiting in April, make sure you download some Netflix shows and watch them while waiting so as to not kill yourself of boredom :p. I wish they somehow made the process better and reduce the wait times. Overall, these guys definitely know to how file taxes and get you some decent refund. However be aware of the long waits even if you make appointments.
