So I have never gone in despite waking past at least once a week. Yesterday, someone invited me for a beer at Poor Phil's, which was closed at the time, so they changed the location to The Beer Shop, not realizing my dog issue. I was feeling brave, so I went in! Thankfully, no allergic reaction. There was only one small dog there while I was there, about 30 minutes, and the dog only walked by once, while leashed. A few tables with kids playing board games. A few folks at the bar. I really dug the vibe, and if it was pet-free, I'd totally come here more often! The bartender was super duper friendly, really cool. I got a cider on tap, and there were non-alcohol options as well, even saw a canned Diet Coke- my favorite!! I realize I'm not their ideal customer, with my dog challenges.
