My spouse and I found a cocktail made by Uptown at Target in the summer of 2020. After our supply was gone we went back to Target and couldn't find the drink. So we searched online and traveled about 45 mins from home to many different Targets no luck. I decided to call Binny's thinking this would lead no where. I spoke with John on a Wednesday and he told me he had about 4 bottles of the Uptown Pina Colada. I asked him if he thought I needed to come that evening he said I doubt it and due to the amount sold per month. I went the next day and was so glad John was there I got to meet him and thank him in person for his customer service, his patience over the phone and his knowledge of the store trends. I will always go to Binny's first when purchasing spirits. I got my gift (2) bottles as a matter of fact and my spouse was dancing when she opened it. Yay... Another Binny's has opened up. Located in a nice open space by North Riverside. Spacious parking lot and the store has a nice huge selection of varies wine, beer etc. The store has a nice size cigar room where you have to get buzz inside. My brother wanted to stop in and stock up on his liquor and cigars for his Man Cave. The guy that buzz us inside the cigar room was arrogant and kept making small slick comments out of his mouth. It really started to irritate me and rub me in the wrong way. Especially the fact that we wasn't even talking to him or even asking for his opinion of thought. Nicely set up, great prices, and the staff is friendly and always willing to help except the guy in the cigar room. read more

Shout out to my new favorite liquor store. I love Binny's because they have the best selection. I do like to support "local stores" - but where are you going to find all the unique craft brews AND get an education and back story about each one? Today I needed a particular craft brew for a friend. He was doing us a favor with the house and said to "pay him in beer." I asked what his favorite brew was and he said, "Heretic Juicy IPA". Allrighty then. Knew I couldn't pick this up at Jewel or another local place (selection is limited). Off to Binny's! Not only was I greeted by a greeter at the door, but I saw that all of the employees were speaking to customers, helping them with their selection. I was lucky enough to meet Eric, a fellow beer enthusiast. Not only did he help me find the Heretic brew, but we also had a nice conversation about Chicago breweries. He recommended a few others and I BOUGHT THEM. So my friend got his beer and I bought a few for me and my husband to try. Thanks, Eric - and the entire staff at this location. Love this location! My wife and I are frequent (maybe too frequent...) of shoppers here and they always have new and unique things. Their craft beer section has a HUGE local area and the staff are extremely knowledgeable. I was looking for a new New England style IPA and they suggest Le Jus from Alarmist out of Chicago and it is now my new favorite beer! Also, we were lucky enough to come in when they had me of my favorite whiskeys in stock! Weller Special Reserve isn't expensive, but it is pretty hard to find. I made sure to stock up so I will be set for awhile! No complaints here!! Keep it up! read more

Let me just sum this Binnys up with one word... AWESOME. It's legit and one is the biggest Binny's you find out there. To start... when you get here be prepared to spend some time and spend some money.. why... because they legit have everything. Whether it be beer, vodka, wine, gin, or bourbon. They have it all. The sales associates are great and extremely knowledgeable. The wine department gave me some great ideas on what wines to serve certain foods. Make sure you get some shopping in at Binny's. Since I was in the neighborhood and saw this location was now open I decided to stop in and check it out. It has that "new store scent". So clean my shoes were squeaking on the floor. Its a very big store since it used to be HH Gregg so that was expected. Its like your other Binny's carries a large selection of beer, wine and spirits. I was there to grab a few bottles of wine. I found what I wanted very easily. The store was not busy at all. There was plenty of staff on hand to assist with whatever you needed and no lines so no waiting to check out. Maybe because it was a Wednesday or because no one knows they are open. Perhaps it will be busier on the weekend but nevertheless, I'm glad there's a Binny's nearby. I usually go to the one in Oak Brook but this one is closer so I'll be back. read more

Love Binny's, especially since they opened this location near me a couple of years ago, but especially for their great pricing & massive inventory. Stopped in last night for a couple 6pks & wine for the ladies, little did I know there was a Stout & Porter tasting an hour later. So what did I do? Took my selections home & returned for the free beer, of course. There were representatives from several different breweries onsite including: Founders, Destihl, Guiness, Church Street, New Holland, Goose Island, Moody Tongue, Deschutes and a couple others. Notables of the night were the "Crönenbier Vanilla Porter" by Church Street, "Fresh Haze IPA" by Deschutes(summer seasonal), & New Holland's "Dragon's Milk Reserve: Banana Coconut Stout". Will definitely be back for another tasting cuz I definitely was not a big fan of stouts or porters but after this visit, they've certainly grown on me. & if you live in the Chicagoland area I'm sure you've been to a Binny's cuz "if u can't find it here, it ain't worth drinkin'!" Same great prices and selection that Binny's is famous for and you are sure to find something you like whether beer, wine or spirits. Helpful staff when I suddenly couldn't remember the name of the beer I wanted that came in the bright Orange can. I usually shop at the 5 star Oak Brook Binny's as they have a more extensive wine selection but this Binny's is very convenient. Recommended! read more

I really like visiting this location. The store is clean and has ample selection of products. But what makes this store great is its staff. Eric is an expert in the domain of beverages. He is incredibly knowledgeable in products and is always helping customers to make the best selection. In fact, I think this location is very lucky to have him as a part of its staff. He took ownership of helping me with my questions and educated me on some items. Not only did I Ieave the store with an excellent beer, I also left with a new knowledge about the beer I did not know about. Thank you Eric and thank you Binny's! read more

It's a Binny's. It's brand new. It's replaced a lame old HH Gregg. It's in a huge building with a big parking lot. It's literally 2 miles from my home. It's around the corner from my local Aldi. No more trying to turn left onto North Ave out of the Elmwood Park Binny's. I could go on... read more

Popped in here to grab some drinks for the game of thrones season premier tonight. WINTER CAME (in April in Illinois - we weren't fans of it lol!) The staff here was super friendly and pointed my husband in the direction of a new favorite with the suggestion of Alarmist brewing Le Jus! I tried Sam Smiths organic chocolate stout and I loved it! I love coming here because they always have such a great selection and if I can't find what I'm looking for there is always someone willing to help me find something similar. I tried to get a cigar cutter on June 19th. The person working that area tells me he has a customer and will meet me by the cigar area. Ok. Once over there, I see a line but think I am ok since we agreed to meet prior to the line that was forming by the cigar area. Imagine my suprise and when 3 people get taken care of ahead of me. Yes, there is finally a Binny's close to home! The inside is quite sizable with a good selection, but a bit smaller than a few others in the area. Parking can be a big challenge because the parking lot is small, so try to come during an off time if you can. read more

I stopped in here after a long visit at the social security office next door... I wanted to surprise my hubby with a little beer gift, and I needed to have a little fun after sitting for 45 minutes like a sardine in a down jacket. As far as beer selection goes, the beer area in this store is vast. The whole store is huge!! But I was able to peruse quickly as it seemed like the selection was picked over- many empty shelf spots, which was kind of disappointing. I found two new beers to try and was in and out quickly. I may give this location another chance, but its not at the top of my list. read more

Binny's is the only place I enjoy shopping at whether it's for weekdays or weeknights. The aisle after aisle of product selection will beat the choices you can get from Jewel or any other grocery store. Prices are good and greater if you had a Binny's card (free to get signed up). I've been there several times and the customer service is knowledgeable, available, and efficient. I love checking out the local beers, wine, and also the fantastic box sets.
