I was referred to this place by a couple of friends and people that had used Alan for a few years and spoke very highly of him. I usually don't get assistance with my taxes but I was self-employed so thought I would give Alan a try. He was a very nice guy and helpful in filling out everything correctly but he was difficult to get in touch with. My problem with him came after all was said and done. When I went online to make a payment it said that my taxes had not been filed yet. Alan had told me that he would file everything for me and all I had to do was pay the bill. Once I realized that they hadn't been filed I tried to contact Alan who was impossible to reach for a couple of days and never returned my phone calls. I finally reached him and he said that he hadn't filed yet but would in the next couple of days. After about 2 weeks I went ahead and sent in my check to pay the money that I owed. I didn't think anything of it and just assumed that he had filed and all was well. I never even though twice about it until I received a letter in the mail months later stating that my taxes and never been filed and they had a credit for the money I had paid. I tried to get ahold of Alan again but gave up quickly and just filed on my own to get it resolved. I'm not exactly sure what happened with him since I was never able to actually reach him but I just know that my taxes never got filed and that was a huge problem. My friends still speak very highly of him but I can only speak on my experience which ended up going about as poorly as possible. I am no longer referring people to Alan and would suggest you find somebody else to help you out since there are plenty of choices! read more
