On 4/12/26, cheapest gas in Morro Bay. Very helpful attendant, nice clean market, gas pumps working well. Not sure about the previous reviews but on this date, gas was cheap. Conveniently located near the beach. I filled up on my way back to LA and gas was cheaper than LA gas by far. read more

Since I am local, I should know better, but I did not want to go on a country road toward Atascadero on an 1/8th of a tank... Ironically, since I have a hybrid, I could have made it to the much cheaper Shell right at the beginning of A-town on the 41. The other economic Shell is right on Hwy #1 & Foothill in SLO....which is my go to gas place in the entire area. Anyway, it cost me $58 for a full tank of mid-tier gas for my Toyota Camry Hybrid....so I think I overpaid about $8. Since my wife needed to use the restroom and I needed to clean the windows, it was not a total loss. At least the window cleaning solution was nice & soapy and clean. It worked great to cut thru a bunch of dirt & bird yuck. As someone else commented, it does seem that the pumps do go slow, but that leaves you ample time to wash the windows. Of course, they likely jack up the price for nervous nellies like me, who are bound for Atascadero on the rather isolated 41. As the sun set, the landscape was quite lovely. In the past we never made it much past the wonderful Avocado Farm stand that is just up the road about a mile or two. They have amazingly good Avocados for reasonable prices that usually beats what is offered at most local Farmers Markets. Just before the gas station we checked out the Morro Bay Farmers Market which had no Avocados, nor much in the way of Veges.. In any case, after getting gas here, we had a lovely trip on the 41 and them did some bargain hunting in A-town, and then went down the 101 to eat at Ox & Anchor, in SLO-town, to celebrate the new Chinese Lunar Year! read more

Absolute highway robbery. Gas here is more than a dollar higher per gallon than average. This gas station is taking advantage of the people of Morro Bay and the tourists spending money in Morro Bay. Avoid it like the plague. read more

Not as cheap as Sinclair across the street, and their express car wash is a straight up scam. I went there this morning, and the wash didn't even dry my car whatsoever. I noticed it's a dollar cheaper but did not pay attention to if that meant that the car would be dried (since that's standard at everywhere else I've gone) and it just wasn't even on. I'd be okay with it if it at least managed to actually clean my car, but it failed in that regard as well. Credit where credit is due, it when it comes to cleaning the express wash in Osos actually gets gunk off my car, this one basically gave it a quick wipe and sent me on my way. Add to that the water spots all over my car, my car actually looks worse and is harder to see out of the side windows than it previously was. Kinda baffles me that a car could look worse after a wash in general, but this place managed to pull it off. Just go to Sinclair across the street for cheaper gas (albeit slower pump time) and don't use this car wash. Even if it did dry it at all, you're better off just hosing your car down; at least then you can knock off some gunk, save money, and will have just as many water spots. read more

This Chevron station is right on the cross roads of Morro Bay and the route back to highway 101. It's right at the corner of Main Street at Hwy 41 and as plenty of pumps, lots of room to park and go in and overall average gas prices for the area. They have a pretty decent sized convenience market for your last minute snacks and drinks. I found the cashier to be very friendly along with providing quick service. This was literally the last business I checked in to in Morro Bay after a long holiday weekend. Nearly all my interactions in the area were very positive-both in locally owned businesses and chain stores. This Chevron wrapped up my good experience in the town very nicely. read more

Well this is my go-to gas station in Morro Bay. They have all the right goodies I want, and the cooler keeps the soda at the right temperature, nice and cold. AWFUL place. Out on a beach trip with some friends and the hours to this place say 24/7 online. It's 9:20 when we pull in and my friend goes in to buy a snack and use the whiz palace. The woman snaps at my friend, "We're closed!" My friend is confused because the lights are on and the doors are open and its 9:20.... Did you close at 9:21? My friends now pissed and says if you're closed then refund my money and take your snacks back. The old woman with what can best be described as bold magenta hair snaps: just use the bathroom but I'm closing and Id like to go home! Whaaaaa? Then the woman yells "see!? Great now there's more people coming in!" Those people? Customers. Trying to make purchases at a gas station that's open (apparently) until 9:30 and shame on them for paying at 9:22pm!!! Terrible customer service, terrible attitude, terrible store. Originally didn't mind paying 30cents more per gallon but be sure of this Chevron Witch: we will never be back. read more

Be prepared to spend 15 or 20 minutes here pumps only pump at 2 gallons per minute. Been coming to this gas station for 15 years, but the pumps still are the slowest in town takes 20 minutes to fill your tank, despite complaining more than two dozen times to every employee they refused to fix the problem. I gave them two stars because their snack selection is good. read more

I was there to buy a single cigar which was $1.07 and asked a book of match too....but the attitude and service she gave me was awful and rude. ( it was about 7: 25pm on april 13th ) I had no cash so I paid by debit card and asked for a receipt then she was like " what's wrong with this guy?" attitude... I know it's just a gas station but holy cow the older lady who worked there is incredibly rude. With all this covid stuff going on my boyfriend asked as we got to the counter how she was today (standard pleasantries) and she instantly was very rude complaining about having to work with the public. When we told her we both did also and understood how she felt she then said well why would you even ask how I am then? It's a tough time for all of us but entirely unnecessary to be so out of line. I'm local and will never, ever go to there again for any reason. Pretty ridiculous. read more

Highest gas prices in town,(30 cents more per gallon), no free air, hasn't worked for 2 years

Okay, to make a long story short. I was passenger, Patty was driver. Patty runs over cat coming from Atascadero and it screwed up her front right tire pretty bad. We pull into the gas station to remove her fender liner covered in kitty slushy by this point. All the staff on hand came out to help and were so friendly. I was ready to puke and they offered me a free 7 Up to ease my stomach. What a place! read more

Just your standard Chevron station. Clean for the most part, service is good. The highway gets busy and this location can be hard to get in and out of. Especially if the pumps are busy. The just isn't much room for waiting your turn. The store inside is decent. Also, quite small, but it has the gas station staples. Not much to offer for hot food other than hot dogs. Overall, this station is okay. read more
