We have had a home in Cayucos for many years and had never gotten food at the gas station on the corner...but recently, we walked into town to get breakfast and missed Mosey's breakfast by 30 minutes and the line at Hidden Kitchen was too long, so we decided to try the Cayucos Mini Mart. Boy, are we glad we did because now this place will be on our standard rotation! Here is what we liked: - Great menu with so many breakfast options...very affordable too! - My wife and I ordered both the Asada Breakfast Burrito and the Breakfast Sandwich with Bacon. We waited maybe 10-15 minutes for our food to be ready...they call your name, and it is already packaged ready for "to go". - We took our food over to one of the tables near the recently renovated Vets Hall and ate while enjoying the ocean view. - OMG, was the food amazing! The burrito was massive and awesome tasting, and the sandwich was like a gooey grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and egg...so good. In fact, my wife liked the sandwich even more than the burrito.
