Both of them drove in a safe and relaxed manner that got me to my destinations on time. Both cars were clean SUVs with complimentary water, lots of ports for charging your electronics, and thankfully they had exactly the sort of relaxing music that you need to clear your mind for your trip. However, I had a problem. The hotel clerk (who talked to him on the phone) said it would be $75 flat, and that he took credit cards. When we got to the airport, Tee asked for a 6% surcharge for using a credit card. I protested, reminded him about his phone call with the clerk, and answered his question about not having cash, but he insisted. So rather than make a fuss at the curb, I relented. Once he ran my card through his Square device, he charged $82.50, which actually is 10% more than the agreed rate. I clicked "no tip" (of course) and collected my bags. So while the ride was pleasant, his behavior at the airport was not. I probably could have insisted on the flat fee, but didn't have time or energy to stamp my foot and argue. I'm *extremely* disappointed in how this worked out. :(

Truth be told, Tee essentially runs more of a personal limo service (bottled water, gum, clean-cut)...DEFINITELY beats the hell outta the typical ashtrays-on-wheels that clog the streets. I called Tee to schedule a nippy 5am pickup for our departure flight. Unlike many other unfortunate experiences, Tee was easy to understand, meticulous, and thorough in confirming time, address, etc...even followed up w/a confirmation text message. Smooth sailing all the way: prompt pickup (5 min early), clean (no smoke residue whatsoever), polite, laid-back, safe/efficient driving. Price quoted=price paid...what a concept! And you know how credit card machines always seem to be "broke" when it's time to pay the fare?...(Yeah, that's my FAVORITE, too)...Not at all a problem here.
