The annual Food & Wine festival in Aspen Colorado is set for June 20 to 22, 2025, where you can eat, drink and mingle with celebrity chefs in the glorious jet set wealthy mountain community with the likes of Top Chef hosts Padma Lakshmi, Tyler Florence, Kristen Kish, plus experts in the Drinks and Spirits industry. One can indulge in the sport of eating and drinking all day. Hey, Yelpers! As eggs become a rarity like diamonds we say, "Bon appétit!" - - Oh, wait that's the name of their competition! Well at least we can enjoy reading the articles.

It features recipes, cooking tips, travel information, restaurant reviews, chefs, wine pairings and seasonal/holiday content. The premier event for the magazine is the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado. The Classic features wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, featured speakers, as well as a cooking competition. Held annually in June, the event is considered the kickoff to the Aspen summer season and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023. If you can afford to attend you will hobnob with the rich and famous of the food and wine set. My honesty forces me to let you know my experience reading this magazine is limited to my frequent visits to Barnes and Noble over the years. They typically have a comfortable chair and I cop a read while staying cool in the summer months! Enjoy.....

Never heard back, never received the missing issues, didn't have subscription extended. Besides Vogue is not what it used to be tho still has a few good articles but not worth the price... especially since not all issues arrive and poor customer service. Obviously I cancelled my subscription.

I don't recall exactly how but,my first glance at an Onion news paper was electrifying! The front page article refered to the Rapture. I was sold. I took the Onion to school showing it around. My history teacher asked if he could borrow it but never gave it back . I'm really glad to see it back on " news stand " shelves. We need the comic relief right now.

Real-world news has become so unhinged that in some cases The Onion's satire has predicted the future. One such instance was when there were 2 and 3 blade razors, The Onion ran a headline saying, "F everything, we're doing Five Blades", shortly after Gillette announced the five blade Fusion razor. In 2000, they ran a headline, " Man Consults Internet About Everything ". With AI, etc, it's safe to say that their satire successfully predicted the future. They also ran a satirical headline that said a chocolate company had been ordered to pay "obese Americans" a settlement of $135 Billion. A few years later Nutella was ordered to pay for misleading marketing that made people think Nutella was healthy for them. I personally get a kick out of satire...that is until it becomes reality!
