I purchased a Groupon to try their office out in Hollywood even though it was quite a trek from my home. I met Dr. Fox on my first visit as part of my consultation. Her nurse is actually the one who administers the injections. I thought the nurse was very thorough and did a fabulous job on both of my visits. I also asked the nurse how much these treatments would be to continue if I come back without the Groupon and they are very reasonably priced. Several of these vein treatment offices charge by amount of injections which is ludicrous. Here they are very thorough and charge by session. I have done this procedure at other offices and I would highly recommend this one.

I had questions about the insurance verification (how much this was going to cost me changed from last year's plan), and I called to speak to his office staff who had verified the insurance. They said it would cost me $200 or $210 for the visit, but I thought it would be $170. The receptionist said she would have billing re-verify and get back to me if what I owed was different than $170. I subsequently researched on my end and say that in fact, it would be $200. or $210, not $170. As a courtesy, I called the doctor's office to say they had been right. First the receptionist was rude and said "I told you we would call you back if you had to pay something other than $170. You only have to pay $170". I tried to explain to her that they had in fact been right about the $200 or $210, and $170 was incorrect. She was exasperated and transferred me to Brenda, how appears to be the office manager. Started to try to explain this to Brenda (remember, I was under the impression they were re-verifying the insurance) and Brenda just started going on about the process they follow to verify insurance. She went on and on. I already knew that and didn't need to be told all of that, so after she finished, I told her to shut up and listen to me and why I was calling. Then she told me that they didn't patients like me and that I could go to another doctor. And then they canceled my appointment. I left a message at their oncall number where I specifically relayed the problem I had had, and Dr. Altschuler had Brenda call me back and she wouldn't shut up and I told her I didn't want to talk to you because she didn't listen, she then called me rude. The whole thing was baffling, shocking and appalling. I wouldn't go to this practice simply because there are other doctors with way better office staff. And apparently, this doctor's office, according to the office manager, Brenda, doesn't need patients.

A real person picks up the phone. Not a machine. They answer questions and really seem to care. I know that doesn't sound like it's asking too much, but it's the only office that we've been to that does that. Waiting times are almost what they should be. It seems that a lot of patients come without information, records, referrals etc and it slows things down, but the office works pretty well and is almost on time. Dr. Florin is great. He is a great doctor and a great guy. We did a lot of research before we saw him and he is clearly either the best or one of the top guys in the state. He made us comfortable right from the start. He's funny, but still very serious. It's a great combo. He did a great job on the ablation and answered all of our questions. We didn't see the other doctors in the office but they're supposed to be great. Dr. Vignola is very respected and I know people who have had their stents done by him. Dr. Cubeddu is the expert in structural heart disease. I saw some youtube videos and he seems very good. Dr. Florin said that he was excellent. There is also a surgeon, Dr.Lynn Seto. She is a cardiac surgeon with expertise in robotic surgery. She's new in the office, but Dr. Florin tells me she's great and, what can I say, my family trusts him!!

The initial visit and 2 times for testing, and the last visit to get results of my condition and one of his assistant came out to see me and when I asked him about my heart monitor test result he noticed it was missing from my file, not uploaded to my chart , it was a heart monitor that I wore for 2 weeks. Therefore did not received a diagnosis. Dr. Tami did not even see me once. I was told that if my Tachycardia happened again to go to the emergency room. I paid my co payments, and they took my Insurance. Now I have to find another cardiologist to find out my condition. Now I am getting text messages that I have a balance, I have called them twice and no one is available to talk to me. Not recommendable.

He is 75 years old and take care of my mother fo 84 with dementia. I take them to every doctor and take care of them. The women at the office told me that they were very busy at the Pembroke Pines location, and I should go to Hollywood. She promised me that I could go to Pembroke Pines in the future appointments and that all the test that doctor could order are done at Pembroke Pines. We went yesterday. We wait for two hours. The place looks dirty and no professional at all. The nurses didn't look professional at all. One of them eating cake in front of patients. After two hours a female doctor introduced herself and start the consultation. I complained about not being Dr. Luis Tami. She excused saying that he will come later if we want. She asked many questions and took notes of medications. Then we waited another hour. Finally, Dr. Tami came. He starts asking again about the list of medication. I told him that took 10 minutes for us to explain each one and that the nurse imputes the info on the computer. He refused to open the computer and ask we repeat everything. At that moment I was pretty upset about the whole experience. He recommends my father to perform an echo stress and another one that I don't remember now. We agree and when I ask to go to Pembroke Pines, he refused. I insisted to go to the other office, and He refused again saying that they have everything at the Hollywood location. When we were ready to arrange with the front office place and days, we noticed they just closed and the rest of staff just left. The "nurse" told us (with a plate of salad on her hands and ready to go home) : " go home now and we will call you tomorrow to tell you the days and time for the studies. They just called me. However, they would not even re-book me until I paid a deposit, that would then be applied towards my next appointment or forfeited, if I did not show up/ During the actual appointment, the assistant doing the injection appeared to be completely out of it. Then, even worse, at the END of the appointment, the doctor asks if I had brought my compression stockings. (Isn't this something that should have been asked at the beginning?) I was never advised to bring these nor what strength I would need. However, they just *happened* to have them on sale at the office, at a very inflated price. Because I had had sclerotherapy, I was forced to pay their prices in order to leave the office. The worst part of this experience was that, at the end of everything, I was given a poorly photocopied set of instructions. The doctor didn't even have the courtesy to sit and explain things to me. On the instructions, it said to wear the compression stockings for 10 days, which I did. It stated that I only had to wear them at night after this time. I followed the instructions and my leg became MORE bruised and vein-y after the injections. I later found out from someone else that I should have been wearing the stockings for at least six weeks. (I re-read the instructions and this was never mentioned). Avoid this place like the plague. They seem to care about the dollar and not the patient.

I was a patient for over 2.5 years. I purchased a prepaid package, which would cover my full treatment for both of my legs. I prepaid in full for the treatment (over $5K). The Clinic reassured me that they will finish all the required treatment perfect, and by buying this big package I will get a great deal on the treatment. Over time the clinic changed so many workers, that they forgot or chose to ignore what they promised. At the beginning they would say that the treatment is a long process, but once they get your money, it's almost as if they don't want you there. New receptionist (Maria) is showing so much attitude, telling me that I have to pay more money for the treatment and clinic refuse to finish the treatment. What's disheartening me the most is that during the treatment a new very noticeable area of spider veins appeared, which I did not have before the treatment. I have paid for the entire treatment in advance and clinic refuse to finish the treatment on my legs as originally promised. From the workers who were there for me at the beginning of my treatment Jennifer, Cecilia and Anna are very nice and very professional. The "new" team and the management are disorganized. Dr. Soffer is a very good doctor and did his work well; however, that was only part of my overall treatment, and you will likely not see him unless you require major procedures.
