I played jeopardy on my iPad through the whole thing. Each leg took about two hours. Virtually no pain. Recovery is easy, although your legs may be a bit tender. They do get quite bruised. But the best side effect, which nurse practitioner Jacquelyn Pal told me might happen, is I have no more night leg cramps. Wish I had done it sooner. I highly recommend this clinic.

During the initial visit, a technician used ultrasound to check the valves in my legs. Dr. Pal then discussed my condition and options. A few weeks later I returned for the ablation/phlebectomy in one leg, and had the following leg treated the next day. I was awake during the procedures, which took 2-3 hours each day. No pain. Recheck in 3 days, and compression stockings for 2 weeks. Another recheck in 2 months and again in 6 months. The office is clean; the staff is friendly. Always available for questions/concerns.

I have mixed feelings about my experience at this clinic and the bad is pretty bad. I usually get…read moremy fillers done at my plastic surgeons skin clinic, but I figured I would give this clinic a try since a coworker referred me due to a special they were having I couldn't pass up. Would I return here ... yes and no ... The reasons I enjoyed my visit are the staff is extremely nice and made me feel extremely welcome. The nurse that was with me before the doctor came in was amazing as well as their front desk staff. I had bought 3 fillers and anticipated only using two which I was told I was allowed to use them in separate visits when I purchased ... I am very happy with the results I received from those. The doctor took his time to map out my face and the results came out great. Here's the bad part .... he was VERY VERY pushy about trying to tell me I needed more things done, about using my 3rd filler and purchasing MORE and additional skin treatments. This made me very uncomfortable and after my whole appointment of getting my first two done I finally just said yes to using more after being pressured when ideally this is not what I wanted. I should not have agreed to that and stuck with what I thought was best for me. He rushed very quickly through the last one which he advised I needed to put around my mouth area for the best results (the first two were my cheeks) and I've been stuck with ugly lumps on both sides of my mouth for the last year! The picture attached is from this past month and a few lumps are still present after hopes they would go away they are finally starting too almost a year later ... I saw my normal provider to see how it could be corrected and was informed it was best to just wait it out. I'm still debating on giving it another shot for touching up the area I am happy with, but am pretty nervous to do so.

We lucked out in choosing Home Instead to take care of our 90 year old mother. (she was 87 at the…read moretime). Their services are phenomenal, starting with the first call. Mom was in rehab and about to be released. She refused to let anyone in the family take care of her because she didn't want to be a "burden". Home Instead came to the rehab facility within hours of my call and it was smooth sailing after that. Their patient coordinator, office staff, care givers, and especially the owner, John Stuck have been so attentive we'd think we are their only client. John has been to see mom several times and each time it just brightens her day (he is quite personable). We have never had a problem with their services and whenever I call with a change, etc, their response time is lightening fast and handled as though we are family to them. They also have a pay scale to match the clients needs. We are currently on the companion care plan and when mom starts to decline, we can move up a notch to the personal care plan, etc. And mom likes the variety of care givers each day. She has the same 3-4 that rotate (24/7) and she never gets bored. Since mom never wants to leave her home, now she won't have to - because of Home Instead, she can stay home as long as she wants. She is living on her terms which has kept all of us sane. When the time comes that you ever need this type of care, save yourself a lot of time and call Home Instead first - you won't be disappointed.
